We had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect for exploring both Oxford and the Cotswold with easy access to both areas via a short drive/train, while still enjoying the peace and beauty of the countryside. Silvia was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The house was spotless and very comfortable, and we especially loved waking up to the lovely view of the countryside from the bedroom window. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great access to the area.

Karen’s barn was a lovely place to stay - very peaceful and not far to walk into Bampton. We really appreciated the cool temperature under the thatched roof when the weather was warm. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet of the countryside.

Great nice and clean

Lovely clean apartment .. we’ve stayed before and found its location great.. close to Magdalen Rd coffee shops.. bus stops to town. I wish your check-in instructions were easier to obtain without having to call you to get in. You have all the gizmos for an easy check-in but it’s been tricky on both occasions. Once in, it’s perfect!

Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. The place felt very private and was in a great location to visit nearby towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great place, clean and felt fresh. Easy access and did everything that was promised. I didn't use anything past the bedroom, which was brilliant.

From start to finish the whole experience was top drawer. I travel a lot for business and the place was just what I needed, peaceful, tranquil and cosy. The room is well appointed and as described. When your host says "come and go as you please" and means it, this makes a difference. francesca manages a nice balance of being there when needed and allowing you your privacy. Highly recommend.

The garden studio was nice and spacious. Everything was clean and the description was spot on. The studio had great privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the view into the garden was relaxing. Matt and Vincent were wonderful. They had great recommendations for food and sights. We went to The Rusty Bicycle to have a great night of burgers and drinks. Matt was always available when we needed him to. Bonus: their two cats are just the cutest. Would stay here again without a doubt!

Such an excellent place, so secluded yet so well connected! It was only 20mins drive from Oxford town centre, 15 mins from Bicester Village. It was so tranquil, so peaceful, I would book again in the summer when the weather is much warmer. Hot tub was nice and privately located whilst over looking the forestry area. Only small thing i would ask for is bigger pans for cooking as we spent most of our time in the bungalow with the family and enjoying the hot tub!

Put simply Nigel's place is just amazing... everything was as described/looked in the pics and beyond. Comms with Nigel were brilliant...there was no stone on turned to say the least. The treats that Nigel left us were first class and a really nice thoughtful touch... would really love to know where the grapes were from?... actually delicious... we will be back for sure... Thanks Nigel :}

We had an enjoyable stay here - the place was cosy, comfortable and clearly well looked after. This is a very private and peaceful location so ideal for a relaxing getaway. It had good facilities with everything you need and a lovely garden space, with plenty of local walks. Although a more remote location it is still less than ten minutes from any supermarkets/restaurants you might need, and Oxford itself only half an hour away by car. Hosts were very responsive and friendly as well. Would highly recommend this stay!

Charming barn conversion right in the heart of Childrey. Tastefully furnished and well appointed. Mel was a very accommodating host; responding quickly to my questions and providing pro-active advice. And the extended check-out (subject to availability!) was particularly welcome.

Sarah’s place is stunning!! The decor inside is so cute and cosy, and the surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. We had wonderful weather when we stayed and were truly able to take advantage of it. Sarah and Mike left a lovely guide with everything we might need including local walks and recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. Honestly it’s the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, one of my favourite Airbnb finds, an absolute gem!! 💎

The POD was amazing a home from home. Everything you want from your stay, clean, tidy and peaceful. It’s well equipped and has an amazing shower and bathroom plus the bed is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here for a short stay or long stay a perfect host and accommodation.

Ideally placed for our main aim of visiting Blenheim Palace-just a 4/5 minute drive away.Highly recommend a stroll around Woodstock whilst there as was a beautiful old town. Our accommodation was just right for us not forgetting our dog.Everything you’d need was present and it was much appreciated to have some goodies gifted on our arrival .Although the main house is on the road,Cherry Nook itself is set back at the bottom of the garden giving us no traffic noise at all and it was actually very peaceful.We would definitely book Cherry Nook again if returning to the area in the future.

Great communication, Andrew responded immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. Directions were very clear and we found The Duck House easily in day light. Andrew met us on arrival offering assistant at anytime throughout our stay. Walking into the accommodation we knew we had chosen well, what a great little find. Everything was very clean and organised and finished to a very high standard and with all that we needed and more. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and meant I didn't need to pack anything from home (apart from conditioner) There is a main chain Superstore 8 minute drive away which houses a coffee shop and pharmacy and it was a 25minute drive to Redbridge Park and Ride to visit wonderful Oxford. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much Andrew & Hilary.

Fabulous stay at Karen's cottage. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Totally as described . Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Karen always on hand if we needed anything. Great drinks tray with many choices of tea and coffees etc. Milk, Jam, Cereals, and Butter supplied to start your off. Would highly recommend to anyone for a peaceful break. Many options for local walks and city visits. Great to meet up with Karen. Many thanks for a fantastic stay.

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Thank you Emma for a lovely relaxing stay. The house was gorgeous, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and pristine. Quality bed and linens were really comfortable. It’s in a beautiful garden in a peaceful rural location but only a 15 min drive into Oxford. We really enjoyed our stay and are considering visiting next year again!

Henrietta and Matthew were most excellent hosts during my 6-month stay. They were always responsive and even provided complimentary cleanings on a fortnightly basis, which was honestly so helpful for keeping the place tidy since I was visiting for a long period of time. The surroundings are beautiful, and I really enjoyed going on nice walks to Ewelme and watching the hens in the yard. There is a bus stop outside of Mays Farm for the 33 which goes from Henley to Abingdon every hour. You can take it to Wallingford where there are a few nice restaurants, or you can connect to the X40 which goes from Reading to Oxford. I've noticed that some guests have issues with the shared driveway and I think it's a non-issue. Henrietta and Matthew are considerate people and never infringed upon my privacy or that of my guests. All in all, it has been a pleasure getting to know Henrietta and Matthew, and their hospitality left me feeling warm and welcome. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this charming cottage in Cotswolds! The cottage is modern and freshly refurbished, despite being an old traditional cottage with the glass door to a large field where you can see horses from far and walk and play (as we did with our kid). The cottage is very stylish - beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, the living room was very cozy, and the bedroom - very romantic with the bath being in the room. The cottage also has a bathroom with shower on the ground floor which is very convenient. The location was great: peaceful and scenic in a quiet Cotswolds village, and just a short drive from ither lovely villages, walking trails, and great pubs. It is also walking distance to Bleinheim Palace which is very convenient. Our host was very responsive. Also we were impressed with some butter, bread and tasty jam in the fridge - nice surprise
