We had a wonderful stay at Yu’s place in Kyoto. Please follow Yu’s instructions as the location by Apple and Google maps may show to be slightly different (location is on Yoancho and not on the pedestrian walkway). The home is completely renovated with top notch Panasonic fixtures throughout. Area is convenient on the subway line from Kyoto Stn and beautiful near Gosho (former Imperial Palace).

Nomura’s place is a gem especially for a big family like ours during vacation. Everything was so easy, organized, and even the location is the sweet spot because it’s a very peaceful neighborhood. If I would go back to Kyoto, I would try to have this airbnb again!

Kazuya’s place was awesome. We loved having so much space to move around in and the theming was so fun. Everything was very clean and Kazuya was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. He answered all questions and helped us whenever needed. Would 100% recommend!

This house is a stunning and historic property. Summer and Spring might be best times to stay. We were chilly at times in shared spaces on lower level. We were challenged preparing simple meals in the kitchen which includes only very basic cookware. The stairs are very steep and could be intimidating for some. Best, were amazing places to eat just feet from the house, long soaks in the outside tub and strolling "the hood" discovering the work of amazing craftsman in local shops. Grocery shopping and walks in the park also all close to house. Great slice of Kyoto.

Very nice place to stay at! Me and my girlfriend drove to Kyoto for a relaxing trip, this place is located in the mountains so it’s very quiet but easy to get to if you’re driving. The host is very nice. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely time at Kyoto House! A really fun space, mix of classic Japanese and western style. The doorways are a little low if you’re tall but really no complaints. Would stay again!

I wish we had stayed longer. This place is in a great location. It was very comfortable and spacious compared to other places in Japan. I highly recommend this pad and would stay here again if I had the opportunity. Walking distance to local attractions and restaurants.

We had a great stay here with 11 adults. The layout is unique with little windows, doors, and other mysteries throughout the home. It is very old and should be preserved where possible, but it could use some extra upkeep. Many of the sliding doors and windows are stuck or damaged, the gutter is full of leaves, lightbulbs are mismatched, there's some unfinished drywall in the kitchen - just minor things like this. With some extra attention, it could be a luxury property. Regardless, we recommend this place. Thanks for having us!

The home is situated near the river and is next to a lot of restaurants. The home itself is very modern, Japanese style, minimal, stylish decor, and thoughtful touches throughout. It was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, making check-in and check-out easy. We really enjoyed being close to the water and having so many dining options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Shan’s place was the most immaculate and authentic Airbnb stay we have ever experienced. It was thoughtfully designed with local appointments such as shoji screens and a modified low dining table. The host was so kind to give us detailed advice on how to travel to Osaka and Nara and even provided us with a generous selection of local snacks and beverages. Thank you for making our Kyoto stay a true pleasure.

La llegada fue muy fácil con las indicaciones que se me compartieron antes de la llegada. La estación de autobús 17 que sale de la estación de Kioto te deja muy cerca de la casa, hay que caminar muy poco para llegar, lo cual lo hace super accesible. Zhang siempre fue muy atento y amable conmigo, respondía muy rápido los mensajes y tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo, una persona muy respetuosa y atenta. La casa no tengo palabras para describirla, es una casa de ensueño, el jardín, el estanque, la casa por dentro, todo estuvo increíble. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente. Nosotros requeríamos esa ubicación porque fuimos a una convención y tiene una conexión muy sencilla con el tren y con los autobuses que conectan toda la ciudad. Sin dudarlo, volvería a elegir la casa para quedarme; es una zona muy tranquila y pasa un río muy cercano, lo cual lo vuelve aún más bello. Gracias Zhang por brindarnos tu lugar y por las atenciones. ☺️

Our stay at Yanbin’s place was great! We really felt at home, at a Japanese home! Place is great, location was awesome! Away from the tourists but still super close to any action Kyoto offers! Yanbin was super friendly, always willing to help and put up with all my questions! Honestly a great place, plenty of room, comfortable and great location! Our kids were very careful around the house, but with so much space it was really great! Everyone had its own corner in the house to enjoy their reading, playing a game, reading a book or sipping a coffee/tea/sake! Highly recommended without a doubt! Thank you Yanbin, see you next time!

Had a great stay here! Everything was clean and nice. Bathroom was great. If you're tall, just watch your head so you don't hit it on the low door frames

周边🈶一家叫做永旺的超市和购物商场、离京都站大概步行时间在15分钟以内。按照国人的习惯，这个地方叫做弄堂里。适合全家出游或者闺蜜、兄弟一起出游。性价比高。以后有需要会继续光顾的。

Excelente localização. Casa muito bonita e tradicional, com excelentes comodidades e detalhes de requinte. O dono foi sempre muito atencioso e cooperante em tudo. Adoramos!!!

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

Très bon logement avec un propriétaire très sympathique et serviable. Le logement est très bien situé et possède quelques magasins dans les environs. 2 jours parfaits dans le logement. Je recommande fortement.

Great place to be with family in especially with kids. Perfect location if you plan to visit bamboo forest, monkey park and still only 20 min train ride to Kyoto station

O local é muito bem localizado, a 3min do trem, do family mart e de templos. A casa é bem tradicional e organizada. As camas são muito confortáveis. A limpeza não estava 100%, mas não impactou a viagem.
