Road end lake access, as well as 1.2 miles from the only public boat launch and state park on the lake.

Welcome to our cozy cottage just across the street from Houghton Lake! Enjoy the nicest street on the lake, with lake views from the living room, dining room/kitchen, & the additional family room. Enjoy a glass of wine watching sunset from the large front deck and Amish seating. Lake access is a block away. Small boats may launch there. ORV trailhead is very close (we ride to the trailhead from the cottage), plus snowmobile trails, and state land. Public boat launch under 3 miles away.

This cozy, fresh cabin has Higgins Lake views, very close road-end beach/water access and is just a quick walk to Sam-O-Set Park & Beach and Good Times Party Store! The extra large lot has plenty of space for your boat trailer. Enjoy your breakfast looking at the lake! Take a few steps down to the road end beach and spend your day sunbathing and wading WAY out in the shallow, clear water. Launch your kayak here if you would like! Round out your evening with a bonfire out back!

Just 1 block from the Lake our Freshly Remodeled Cottage is next door to our "Hilltop View Cottage". 2 King Bedrooms and a large Bunk Room (which was the original PO for Higgins Lake) has 2 Full over Full Bunks w/another TV! Excellent Wifi (Roku) & 3 Season Room w/ table-great for work/study space. Large fenced in backyard, gas grill, outdoor dining & fire pit. Near Sam O' Set Beach. Extra Clean and Charming w/a large open Kitchen. Pets must be approved w/Pet fee.

Just a short 10 minute walk to a nice public beach on Houghton Lake or 2 miles to launch your boat on the water. Just 4 miles to the ORV trailhead.

Canoeing, Kayaking, and Trout fishing on Cannon creek, and the mighty Manistee river within walking distance. 20 lakes with in 20 minutes. Enjoy peace and quite with limited phone service but super fast star link wifi. Beautiful fall colors. Quiet cozy nights under the dark sky.
