Hegranes guesthouse on a farm

We would like to welcome you to come and stay in our lovely guesthouse at our farm in the heart of Skagafjordur. Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

Beautiful private house by the Fjord with Hot Tub

Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Rustic Cabin with a View

Rustic Cabin is a micro apartment connected to our farmhouse. The kitchen and living-room are in the same space where you have two beds, a sleeping sofa and a wonderful view of the sunset or the northern lights - if you're lucky. And then there is a nice private bathroom. Steinnes is a farm located in picturesque Icelandic scenery with a beautiful view of mountains and the river running by. It lies 15 minutes (by car) south of Blönduós and 2 km from the main road.

Sólsetur (Sunset) Syðri-Haga

Peaceful and lovely cottage on the land of farm Syðri-Hagi with lovely ocean views. Located on the west side of Eyjafjörður, with majestic mountain ranges and welcoming valleys. The cottage Sólsetur (Sunset) is 25 square meters, built 2016-2017. The cottage has one bedroom with two beds and a sleepingcouch for two in the livingroom. The kitchen is fully equiped. Facilities for four persons. On the terrace there is a geothermal hot tub and a gas grill.

We are easy to reach (even with a small car) in all seasons and there are many activities and natural landmarks in our area.

Apartment B offers peace, privacy, and breathtaking views on our serene Icelandic farm. Unwind in the shared geothermal hot tub and cold plunge, surrounded by pure nature and crisp mountain air. On clear winter nights, you might see the Northern Lights above and enjoy crystal-clear water flowing straight from our mountain, Staðarhnjúkur. 10 minutes drive to Akureyri and a lot of activities nearby.
