The Suite is a cozy place to rest from your travels or stay while you visit family/friends. Away from the bustle of downtown, yet only a 10 minute drive to all the venues in the Grand Rapids downtown area. It’s a small but well stocked suite, separate space in the front of our home. Tanger Outlet is 1 mile away for convenient shopping. There are a number of restaurants close to choose from. Continental breakfast provided ( plant based) hot/cold cereal, bread, fruit, coffee bar.

Located in a historic home, this second level apartment is just 2 miles (and less) from Bronson hospital, WMU Med school, Kalamazoo Mall and restaurants such as Bells Brewery. Bittersweet ski lodge is literally in the back yard. Less than a 1/4 mile to entrance. Kalamazoo River is across the street with a kayak/canoe launch just a 1/4 mile away. We have kayaks available to rent at a minimal cost and can provide drop off and pick up. There is a fire pit that can be used. There are 8 campsites on the property, 5 with 30 amp service and 3 with 20 amp that are available at additional costs. The Lynx golf course is about 5 miles away.

We are 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, 20 minutes from Gun Lake Casino, 20 minutes to the airport, 35-40 minutes from Lake Michigan, and 25 minutes away from Yankee Springs Recreation area. Welcome to our tiny home! In 2019 my husband and I set out to renovate this old pool house into a self-sustainable apartment or tiny home. As you can imagine… things did not turn out the way we intended and construction was completed in the fall of 2020! The amenities are not lacking within the space and we know you will feel at home!
