A quiet place with a stunning view for small group

The house is located on a small farm in north Iceland. Guests have a lot of privacy in the house as it stands alone. You might see our horses and even sheep close to the house. Our dog and cat are friendly and might pay you a visit. You can go for short walks among horses, sheep and birds in a varied landscape. During the winter, there is a unique experience to sit in the hot tub and watch the northern lights. The house is a good place for home office due to high speed wi-fi and facilities.

Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Bjarmaland - A Cozy Blue House near the Ocean

Bjarmaland is an old stonehouse in Hvammstangi. It's a small house, about 55m2 and has three floors with two rooms on the ground floor; Bathroom and Kitchen, the entrance at the first floor, and a cozy Bedroom/Living room on the second floor. Only 1 minute walk to the Supermarket, the Tourist Information Center, Icelandic Seal Center and the restaurant in the town; Sjávarborg. Rustic Cabin is a micro apartment connected to our farmhouse. The kitchen and living-room are in the same space where you have two beds, a sleeping sofa and a wonderful view of the sunset or the northern lights - if you're lucky. And then there is a nice private bathroom. Steinnes is a farm located in picturesque Icelandic scenery with a beautiful view of mountains and the river running by. It lies 15 minutes (by car) south of Blönduós and 2 km from the main road.

We provide a nice and cosy flat on the lower floor in a two-story house with a garden and ocean view from bedroom, kitchen and living room. Centrally located in Hvammstangi town with everything in walking-distance: supermarket, restaurant, seal center, swimming pool, KIDKA knitting factory, pharmacy & more. Seals & whales can be watched occasionally from our backyard - no guarantee:)

Eyri seaside houses north, with great sea view.

Eyri Seaside Houses is a cozy, warm and new guesthouse with a great ocean view on our small horse farm. We usually have horses at home, and if you like, you can contact us and we’ll let you pet them with us! We’re located in Hvammstangi but still very private, with only the ocean and landscape in view. There are a lot of birds at the beach, and there’s even a chance to spot seals. Occasionally whales enter the fjord, but you’ll need a lucky day to see them.

During the summertime a gas grill will be placed on the summer deck which you can use. it‘s just about 5 minutes walk to a swimming pool and just about 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and liquor store. In the same neighborhood is e.g. the Icelandic Seal Center and the wonderful restaurant Sjávarborg.
