The cottage was beautiful and clean! The bed was a dream to sleep in. Would highly recommend for a nice weekend get away!

Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

We had a lovely stay, the weather wasn't great so the covered hottub was bliss even in the rain. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and lots of privacy for hottub. We'll likely book again in the future. The movie snacks left by host were a nice little touch. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend stay ☺️

The cottage was beautiful , comfortable and well supplied. Hosts were great . The back deck with hot tub, fire pit and grill is great with a view of the lake

This place was absolutely beautiful. We were fortunate the rain stayed away until late in the evening so we enjoyed the beautiful sunny day. Hit the town for a relaxing walk before retreating to the chalet for a nice bbq and drinks on the patio as we watched all the boats passing by on the water. The inside was immaculate and the hot tub was an amazing way to end the night. Our host was quick to respond to questions and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Was a great way to spend a 1 year anniversary 😊

We had a lovely time at Amanda’s cabin 🥰 The place is beautiful and cozy! Even if you don’t have hot water and WiFi, you can enjoy the view, the place but also the trails at Cape Breton Highlands National Park 😍 The cabin has what you need to cook and enjoy your stay. The decoration is really nice and with the personal touch of Amanda, it’s feel like home. I was there with my mom, sister and boyfriend, and we can only recommend 100% this lovely cabin in the woods 🙌🏼

The location was great with easy walk to beach for sunset. The proximity to the park was wonderful and close to town for easy access to restaurants and grocery store. The house was clean, but dated and very camp like, rustic. Had a few flies and bugs come out when we warmed up house but we're manageable. Overall a nice experience and an enjoyable stay.

More space than we thought ! Very beautiful location. My friends and I have a fantastic time here, and Daniel was a very responsive host ! would absolutely stay again.

We had a great time at the hilltop cabin, the fire pit and beautiful view down at the beach were lovely. Quite the hill down to the beach but well worth it! The compostable toilet was the nicest I’ve ever seen. I highly recommended this place to anyone visiting CB!

Absolutely stunning views from the cabin, the cabin is very clean and has everything you will need and has alot of personal charm :) I am definitely going to come back frequently!

Gem of a spot! Close to the convenience of Baddeck but with your own stunning lake view from the porch/your bed and private beach access...worth the trail walk! Theresa, Dave, and Jack were great and ready to help with any of our needs!

We really loved the Cape cottage of Stewart and Belle. The location is very private and offers an awesome 180 degree ocean view. It is near a beautiful beach, great even for extended swims. We found the cottage to be a very special place: the views from the deck, observing the resident bald eagle pair, watching for whales below or for shooting stars sometimes kept us so captivated that we did not want to leave “our hill”. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen spotless + with all necessities, a big stack of fluffy towels (including beach towels), fast WIFI, with a nice selection of books and some music. Stewart dropped in after check-in and offered a wealth of tips for activities in the region. Great! The cottage is “loft style”, bedrooms have walls but are open to the cathedral ceiling. All other services (restaurants, groceries, gas, ice cream…) are between 15 and 25 mins away, so you want to plan for example your grocery shopping alongside your activities. We will be back!

This was such a wonderful place to stay for a little late autumn getaway! Couldn’t have asked for a better location :) George was a kind host and the place was fantastic. It was definitely the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! The views are stunning, the cabin was equipped with everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to find. Will definitely stay again in the future!

An incredible location, wonderful amenities ... Suggestion: the hot tub function (i.e. very dependent upon the success of the wood fire) could be stated differently in the ad maybe ?. We were able to troubleshoot the wood fire (we have lots of experience buring wood for home heating) ...but others without that experience would probably struggle with that hot tub configuration. Suggestion #2: Might want to consider more insulation on the tub walls and cover to allow the electric element to achieve & maintain hot tub temp (i.e. 100 oF) during the winter months without relying on the success of the woodfire :-)

Chices, modernes und stimmiges Einzimmerhaus mit grossartigem Blick auf das Wasser , vom Bett aus! Alles da, was man braucht, auch sehr leckerer Kaffee und Tee. Zum Baden hat es gereicht, und zum Kajakfahren oder SUP war leider zu wenig Zeit. Angenehm ruhig, auch wenn es gesamt vier Häuser sind. Frühstück in der Sonne, kurzum wunderbar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Da hat sich jemand mit viel Liebe einen Traum verwirklicht. Danke!

I am glad I discovered this gem and will definitely be booking again! The cottages have everything you need with nice modern updates and very comfy beds. The location was great, beautiful lake access to lake ainslie and so close to Inverness beach. The hosts were very friendly and super helpful - they offered help with starting our campfire among other things! Would highly recommend :)
