We have just returned from a week at The Piggery and can honestly say it was the best UK holiday we have ever had. The Piggery has everything you need and we felt at home straight away. The location is wonderful. If you like hiking, you will love this place. We walked for miles and miles and still found different routes each day. The mountain you see in the distance is walkable but a hard climb. The views are worth it though! I would recommend downloading Kamoot and creating routes to explore. You won’t get lost and everywhere is dog friendly. The Chainbridge hotel was a perfect spot to grab a beer and a pinot blush after a long relaxing walk and then it’s a 2 min stroll to your waiting hot tub! Honestly can’t rave about this place enough. We will definitely be back.

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Cosy, peaceful and private. You can walk for miles from the door step and then spend time relaxing in the hot tub. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! thanks Darren!

Beautiful spacious private and peaceful house and dog friendly. Hot tube bonus. Great garden for the dog and children. Our dog had the best time ever. Kitchen full of kitchen crockery and utensils. 3 bedrooms all ensuite Bonus when 6 adults staying together. One of the bedrooms down stairs. Plenty of parking. Great for what we required 3 families getting together. With baby and toddler. Not feeling like on top of one another. If your wanting to cook a big family meal , you’ll have all you need online of crockery kitchen equipment. Washer and dryer in the garage.

Stunning location- easy for exploring Herefordshire and Brecons. Loved Kington, Weobley and Ludlow. Great cottage, immaculate and the hot tub was an amazing treatm

We had a lovely few days staying at the Holly barn. The barn was exactly as described and everything was great Our toddler especially enjoyed the animals in the garden and refused to go to bed until she'd said goodnight to the ducks! Sarah and mark were lovely and gave us some recommendations for walks close by too Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay at the oak tree hideaway! It’s a beautiful property, the bed is SO comfortable and the hot tub is a fab, added bit of luxury!! It really feels like a home away from home. When we arrived, we met James who was so friendly and welcoming, which wasn’t a surprise when all the messages exchanged prior to our stay were so prompt, friendly and helpful. The surroundings of the property are just beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Lovely stay at Rowley Farm, very clean & comfortable. Great to have the safe secluded garden for the dogs, & a lovely wood fired hot tub for relaxing. Will be back to try again in the future.

Sarah is a fabulous host, we had a slight problem with a velux window and she came round to sort it out within 10 minutes. The cottage was in a quiet mews and it was very comfortable for the two nights we were there. She supplied us with a parking permit and advised us when the property was ready. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sarah and her little cottage to anyone. Thank you Sarah

We had a fantastic stay! The property is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us-our dog loved pottering around the secure garden, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was safe. The views from every window are absolutely stunning, and the whole place was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. Emma is an amazing host. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Philippa was the perfect host, friendly, approachable and couldn’t be more helpful. The house is beautiful and has lots of charm, the perfect cosy retreat for a mini break, and excellent value for money. I couldn’t rate it higher and will book again.

We stayed here for 3 nights (2 adults and 2 small children). The house was clean and comfy with 2 decent size bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Location was great, on a quiet street in the middle of Ludlow and easy walking distance to all the pubs, restaurants and other points of interest. Thanks Debbie for such an easy process and all the info you provided. We'll be back next time we're in Ludlow.

We had a wonderful stay at Domenica’s house. Such beautiful surroundings with walks from the house and stunning views. Lovely woods to walk in up behind the house. The garden was very useable with easy places to sit and enjoy the peace and birdsong on a sunny Easter Sunday after an egg hunt… The house was calm, comfortable and welcoming, thoughtfully kitted-out. Our 9 year old son particularly enjoyed the upstairs drawing desk and the shape of the stairs landing! We had no reason to call upon Domenica during our stay, but she was helpful and accommodating in the run up and we had all we needed in the house. Thank you so much Domenica - we’d happily come again!

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

We had a lovely stay. We were out hiking most of the day but it was lovely coming back to a clean and bright space to chill in the evenings. The rooms were a great size too. We also took a 15min walk to the local pub for some nice food where the service was quick and friendly. Would definitely stay again as a quieter base for hiking in the Peak District.

So cosy & welcoming, it was perfect for us & our two Border Terriers. They especially loved the underfloor heating! Beautifully furnished with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing time, our hosts were friendly & responsive re: any queries we had. Would highly recommend & thank you, for accepting dogs too, this made it for us! 😊

Camilla's cottage in Bentley is a serene countryside retreat. The beautifully designed, spacious interior offers comfort and style, while the surrounding views of farmland and the local church enhance the peaceful atmosphere. Camilla was a welcoming and attentive host, making our stay truly special. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

We had an excellent stay at Rosemary’s comfortable and relaxing lodge. It’s in a picturesque area with scenic views and Rosemary was a welcoming and friendly host.

Snail Beach cottage is a magical place tucked away in Shrophire which is part of the joy. The cottage & surroundings is full of things to discover. It was spotless & generously equipped with everything you could need or want. We particularly loved the curated art, the collections of objects & colours that sung the story of the owners & the area beautifully. Genevieve & Allan were very kind with leaving cereals, a selection of teas, good coffee, local milk, butter, bread & cake, jam & marmalade to try. We also absolutely loved the shampoo, conditioner & wash - all our favourite things!! We really appreciated the ecofriendly nature of the place & all the products used. Thr selection of books & music is a wonderful addition. The information & maps about the places around is so helpful as this a new area to us and there is so much to explore. We really enjoyed the peace, nature, birdsong and feeling of this place which we felt as soon as we arrived. In short the best Air BnB ever!!!

A super host in every sense of the word! On arrival we were greeted by Penny's son which made us feel right at home. We then discovered that Penny had baked us a delicious chocolate cake - what a welcome! The house was spotless, the garden beautiful. Penny introduced us to her incredible sheep and even dropped us off at the train station on the way home. We couldn't have asked for a better host or nicer property.
