This property is located in a remote and beautiful area of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. The house is on 140 acres of fields and forest. There are 2.5 miles of private walking/snow shoeing trails in the woods. A large mowed area around the house provides space for grilling, outdoor dining, fire pit and games. The outdoor hot tub (emptied and refilled after each stay) is heated to 104 degrees year-round. This property is easily accessed from Route 2 and is on a well maintained dirt road.

Clyde River Farm & Forest's secluded Northeast Kingdom river retreat, the Clyde River House provides stunning views, shoreline, numerous birds, including bald eagles, nesting osprey, blue herons, and a pair of loons. Canoes and kayaks available for your use. Hiking, biking, cross country, downhill skiing trails, and snowmobile trails are within a short hike or drive of the house. We use geothermal energy and have hydronic radiant heated floors with AC provided by a fan coil using chilled water. This system is extremely efficient and allows for maximum comfort throughout the home year-round for our guests :-).
