Welcome to Osaka English House! We offer spacious cozy private rooms in an international english speaking environment. Located between Osaka and Kyoto in Hirakata city. Please note that we are a guesthouse and operate differently than a hotel. All rooms are equipped with: Air conditioning/heating, private bathroom, mini refrigerator, towels, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap and a balcony. Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.

Welcome to a lovely place!! You can use two train lines and a direct bus to Kyoto for sightseeing. It takes 12 min to the main station from the room on foot. It is surrounded by a lot of nature, but there are many restaurants and big supermarkets, too. You can enjoy sightseeing while having a relaxing time!
