Our newly renovated kyo-machiya was built in 1918, located in north of Kyoto (near Gion, Kiyomizu temple, Golden temple, Shimogamo shrine, Kamigamo shrine), with wooden terrace, complete with high quality amenities suitable for anyone. "Kyo-machiya" is a Kyoto traditional wooden townhouse which features detailed Japanese vernacular architecture built as early as Heian period, throughout Edo and Meiji period. Kyo-machiya housed merchants and craftsmen, or the townspeople of old Kyoto.

京都の有名庭師が手掛けた日本庭園を眺めながら、日本の古き良き古民家でご家族・ご友人一緒におくつろぎください。 シングルの布団を4つとダブルの布団を1つご用意しておりますので、最大6人まで泊まっていただけます。 日本特有の古民家ですので、建具のがたつき等多少の不具合もあるかと思いますが、そのあたりも古き良き日本の建築と愉しんでいただけたら幸いです。 人工芝の庭もあり、ペットも泊まっていただけますので、愛犬との旅行にもご利用ください。 お子様連れの家族様も大歓迎です。子ども用の食器やエプロンも準備しております。 最寄り駅の京阪大谷駅には徒歩7分、JR大津駅は車で5分です。 最寄りの大谷駅近くには美味しくて有名な老舗鰻屋さんが2軒もあります。 京阪大谷駅から宿までは歩いて１０分弱ですが、少し上り坂になっていますので、チェックイン時に荷物が多い方や歩くのがあまり好きではない方はJR大津駅からタクシーを利用するか、お車で来られることをお勧めします。 宿のすぐ前に無料駐車場をご準備しております。駐車場は2台停めることができますので、2組様でご利用される際にも便利です。
