The cottage is a stone's throw away from The Lake District which can easily be accessed by car, bus or train, the local stations are a 5 minute walk away. A location fit for those wishing to explore the Lakes, whilst also experiencing Kendal's town centre. An allocated parking space is provided directly outside the cottage for convenience. Dogs are very welcome

It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

The Mount - Kendal

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Within 100 meters there is a welcoming traditional drinking pub.

Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.

The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The first floor accommodates a beautifully decorated double bedroom and spacious bathroom. The property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room which provides secure storage space for boots, bikes or golf clubs.
