We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

They say location is everything and this home is in the best location. We're only 100 yards from public river access and 0.8 miles to Downtown Kernville. This is a clean, family friendly ranch house within walking distance to the river, historical town, rodeo grounds and the bike track. The river is so close you can hear the running water. Enjoy the backyard Adirondack chairs (with a propane fire pit/table) to start your day or to 'wine' down and enjoy the river sounds.
