We had a great time and this place was perfw t for our needs. Look forward to staying again. I would, however, place orange cones or some other safety device over the horseshoe stakes as they could be dangerous with children or pets running around or even being out in the evening.

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend and our accommodations couldn’t be better. Perfect location to get to/from the horse show and cabin was quiet and cozy.

My wife and I enjoyed having some peaceful quality time for our anniversary. The property was very unique and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was made very easy by our hosts. I really enjoyed the privacy and quiet. Thank you!

Lovely spot for a quiet get-away. Close to everything we needed. Enjoyed lake swimming, hot tub relaxing, and fire pit ambiance. Great view. We also enjoyed antiquing and thrift shopping in the area.

We had an amazing long weekend here! The house was so cozy but fun. Amazing views and perfect amenities. Can’t wait to return!

we were there for a wedding shower. 6 ladies and we all had comfy beds to sleep on, plenty of bathrooms and sitting areas. Super cute decor and theme. The hot tub was warm and relaxing and the outside sitting areas were great too. The lake is so pretty and serene. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay and communication!

Amazing stay only hiccup was the original gate code provided did not work. Beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and so much peace and quiet. Would definitely come back.

Went for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The cabin was very nice, it was peaceful and beautiful. We went to Morganton and shopped the local stores and ate and had the very best coffee at the book store Thornwell so I highly recommend.

This stay was absolutely phenomenal . We loved the peaceful surroundings and the wetlands . I can say I had my first kayak experience in North Carolina. The place was updated and clean . The natural light in the home was delightful . We loved the privacy of the place and hope to stay here again . Brooke was responsive and accommodating . The surrounding town of Belmont is a hidden treasure . If staying check out honey comb cafe you won't be disappointed .

Host was very responsive and friendly! The cabin was an awesome place and our girls loved the fire pit out back!

crisp white linens and towels made our stay very comfortable and kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. wish one of the queen beds was a king but we knew that going in as the host was very transparent and clear about the facilities. the are is very peaceful and we enjoyed walks and even spotted some wildlife wild turkeys and deer. it was wonderful!

We loved our stay at Trails End cabin. Was in town for the lake james 5k, and the home was walkable to the Fonta Flora brewery via the trails that leads to the Overmountain Victory trail in the backyard.... huge bonus and why I picked this home! Very private and my dogs loved wandering in the yard where we could feel that we're safe. Will definitely be back again!

The cabin at Rutherfordton is perfect for a peaceful, private getaway that’s a step up from traditional camping - modern conveniences and amenities in a charming rural setting - and the place is pristinely clean and well-kept.

Very comfortable and spacious. Really love the dog friendly environment with the fenced backyard. Would love to rent it again!

The property is up the mountain and remote, so this provides a private and peaceful experience. The scenery from the deck was stunning. Highly recommend putting down your tech to soak in all the beautiful that surrounds the property. The drive up and down the mountain is steep, but didn’t mind the journey. I would highly recommend staying at this property. If you’re looking for easy and quick access to stuff - this might not be the place. If you don’t mind a little drive, want to relax from the busy day to day and to enjoy the mountain air - this is definitely your place!

This is the cutest little cabin to unplug at! When two small issues arose, Kathryn was quick to try and help. I would stay here again in the spring—hot water line froze overnight which was absolutely not her fault, and she attempted to fix it with everything in her power. It’s also a smidge loud next to the major highway but only if you’re sleeping in the living room on the futon! It was so adorable and made me want to redecorate my own house. The queen bed was super comfy according to my mom and daughter as well.

This is a great little cabin, I think it’s better in real life than pictured. The screened porch is lovely! We have stayed in other cabins in this neighborhood and this lay out and lot is a bit more spacious. 8 mins from TIEC!

I stayed at highbush cabin for roughly 3 months due to going to the Asheville area to help after hurricane Helene with an ER nursing contract. I reached out to Matt & Jess in regards to their cabin in Lake lure and they made it available to myself and my family during my time staying there. The cabin is such a magical place. Matt & Jess provided the most beautiful and warm experience during the entire stay, always accommodating and available for anything we needed. The cabin is in such a serene location, we saw deer every day and just a little odds and ends that make the cabin so special are really what made it a home away from home. I am so grateful for my stay at highbush cabin and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway or even a longer stay like I did; it’s a truly amazing experience worth taking.

We had an amazing stay! Everything was exactly as described. There was a FULLY stocked kitchen and many thoughtful details. The house was close to shopping and hiking. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect place to relax and enjoy God’s beauty. Views are amazing from the cabin and the beach area is wonderful. The place is well stocked and very clean. Janice is very accommodating and friendly. The location is 10 minutes to the grocery store and many restaurants are within 15 minute drive or less. It is close to whatever you may need, but feels like it’s miles away when you are relaxing on one of the wonderful decks or by the water. No sirens or traffic to be heard….just the soothing sounds of nature and the river flowing below. Truly a slice of heaven. Pictures do not do this gem justice.

We had a wonderful stay at Roberta’s place! Definitely recommend, especially when the weather is warmer so the lake activities can be enjoyed.

For the C4 unit, we had a wonderful stay there as well. The only concern which didn’t affect our stay was the blinds on the main front entrance door. Some of the blinds were damaged towards the bottoms and parts of it missing. I did report it to the front office as well. We enjoyed the tiny house and all the amenities! We even got to tour some of our neighbors tiny houses. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
