The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Bethany was always very responsive and helpful. We stayed with our dog and cat and she was very fair and understanding with the pet deposit. We booked the morning before we showed up and her instructions made it very easy to check in.

I cannot say enough good things about our hosts but also to their cleaning team! House was very homey, lots of extra bedding and towels. All the kitchen things needed to cook big meals for my family! And wow! The games and being baby friendly was so nice! The scenery beautiful and private location! I would recommend anyone with a family to book this home and don’t look elsewhere!

Debi and Russell truly are super hosts! They welcomed us at check in to walk through the unique amenities like the indoor pool, and had us set up with everything for making s’mores at the fire pit. The robes and slippers were a nice touch that made it extra comfortable. If you want a memorable and fun experience with easy access to a private pool, I highly recommend this place! It was also immaculately clean!

Very relaxing spot. Cute inside and loved the main bedroom with huge soaking tub. Would definitely come back!

Cody and David are great! I stayed here for a little over a month while I looked for permanent housing in the area and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend to others. It's just as nice as the pictures and previous reviews indicate. They're good people and I missed interacting with them once I'd left.

This is a truly magical space. Our group of friends created forever memories over our annual weekend gathering this year. Words and pictures don’t do it justice. The chorus of the frogs from the cedar tub was fantastic. Thank Mathew!!

An amazing place to stay. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed with practically anything you could need - the perfect home away from home. This was the first time where we seriously considered forgoing our plans to spend all our time on the amazing outdoor deck, as the view is absolutely stunning. Shannon was friendly, responsive, and gave us wonderful recs for the area (neighbors were friendly, too)! We didn’t want to leave!

Such a wonderful cabin. It was super cozy and was the perfect get-a-way for our fam of 3 + 1 dog. For a place that is dog friendly, you could not tell! It was super tidy and clean and simple. Fished right off the beach, had fires and also appreciated the tv for movies at night and games. It’s in the description, but just make note of the pathway down! It’s well maintained, but if it’s rainy it can be a little slick. It definitely would not deter us from coming back but if you have a hard time mobility wise, it would be trickier! This place is 10/10

The best is the view (and the location). I enjoyed the 10/10 view in the morning for a cup of coffee just by myself. The market down the street offers awesome breakfast so definitely recommend to give that a try. The fire pit would be a hit if you're visiting with kids. My boys loved it! Overall it's a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend to my friends, and probably visit again!

My husband and my daughter and me stayed from Tuesday to Saturday for spring break. We rented a car from airport and it’s about hour and a half to Kingston. Tolls were $5.50 one way which had an attendant so you could pay. When we pulled up and walked in you are immediately hit with the spectacular million dollar views. It had a cute reading nook upstairs with views that you had to climb a ladder to get to. My daughter loved this space. We had three eagles land in the yard talking to each other. Short walk to end block and down a hill you are on private beach with dock you could walk onto. We saw seals from the beach so awesome I could stay there all day. The coffee was excellent and would love to take some home. The town of Kingston has the cutest coffee shop with great coffee and atmosphere. Port Townsend was about an hour away and was very cute and quaint with good food and shops. You can also take the puget sound boat to watch the whales from here. Loved our time ty

We enjoyed our time at Scott’s place in Bremerton. The house is spacious enough for two families, or like ours, one family and each kid gets their own room. Check in and check out were smooth. The neighborhood is peaceful and extremely quiet. A quick drive from lots of shops. Thanks so much!

I rented this home for a long weekend in January and it was wonderful! The downstairs area has a fantastic kitchen (it's large, well-stocked with small appliances, and a great space for those who love to cook and bake), it has a large table for dinner and games, and a very cozy living area with a couch, giant bean bag chair, and gas fireplace. We certainly felt at home here! There is immediate beach access from the house and it's a short drive into town. The host, Kirsten, was super responsive and helpful. From the beginning, I knew that we were in good hands and would be well taken care of by her. I would note that the main bedroom, the one with the largest bed and fireplace, is not in a private room but is in an open loft space. It made for an interesting and less-than-ideal bedroom setup when sharing the house with a larger group of people. Despite the lack of walls and privacy, the room itself was quite nice - the fireplace kept it warm and the view from the bed was fantastic.

The house was wonderful for our family. Was so comfortable and the accommodation's were great. The location was perfect!

What a wonderful house and location to spend a few days relaxing. The views from the house are incredible and it's located in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is a two minute walk from the house and there are also several areas to walk to enjoy the beauty of the area. Kimbra was so responsive before and throughout our stay and made us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back again and enjoy such a wonderful setting and house.

We had a great stay at Sara's place. My kids enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and running around in the backyard. The house has a very cozy, family feel that was perfect for us. We felt right at home. The location is also very central and convenient. Would absolutely stay at Sara's place again!

I am not sure my words will express how amazing our stay was. Carl was responsive and helpful when I needed to extend our stay and then offered early access which we didn't think we would need it until of course the time came. The home was beautiful. The location was beautiful. We were able to go on amazing walks after work and thankfully the weather was respectful during our stay! When the next trip details come I am really looking forward to planning it around the availability of Carl's home. Thank you so much for making this a home we can't wait to return to.

Melissa was very responsive and easy to work with. The property was newly renovated, clean, and had a fantastic view of the harbor. I would definitely recommend!

It was so enjoyable to be right on the shore of Hood Canal. We saw otters hunting and eating just 20 feet from the shore and even a harbor seal. The neighbors are friendly, too.

We loved our stay in Belfair. The view of the water and mountains is outstanding. The bedroom situation worked out well for us. The driveway is what I would consider very challenging to pull out safely. It’s not for the faint of heart. That being said, I would still stay there again, especially since I know to just roll down my windows and listen for traffic. Lovely home lovely view
