We loved our stay in Conifer Cottage. I particularly loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds and rabbits.

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

couldn't have been happier with our stay, absolutely lovely! the property is beautiful, and the accommodation was great. birds to feed right outside the living area, and a breakfast hamper filled with local breakfast produce, what more could we want.

We LOVED our stay at Jessica's beautiful cottage. We felt like we had just stepped into a little cottage in France. It is so tastefully decorated, with quality furnishings and very comfortable. It was warm and the open fire was a nice treat. It was also in a great location and she had great some tips for us regarding dining and activities close by, There were lots of little personal touches including complimentary biscuits, chocolate, tea and coffee, milk and cereal for breakfast. Jessica was really helpful, polite and friendly. We can't recommend her gorgeous little cottage enough. Can't wait to return.

What a lovely little cabin! We had a great time staying on Amanda and Rob's property, surrounded by nature (including the adorable rescue creatures and geese), enjoying the quiet and star-gazing. The cabin is very compact but has everything you could need, including a very well fitted-out kitchen (the Soda Stream was a particular highlight). Amanda and Rob are so friendly and accommodating - we loved hearing their stories about building their forever home up on the hill and all their animal-rescue tales. Highly recommended.

We had a delightful stay at Renee’s property. The surroundings were so magical, it was peaceful and private. We felt very comfortable and relaxed in the beautiful bush setting. Would love to return! Thank you

This house is absolutely amazing! Extremely spacious both indoors and outdoors. Fantastic location very easy to get around. A thoughtful gift was left upon our arrival making this stay a step above the rest, I would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Thanks Leigh and the team

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was perfectly fitted with everything you need. Qe felt so at home and relaxed the whole time. Beautiful views no matter where you looked. The kitchen was well equipped, we whipped up a few lovely meals while eating on the balcony. Our daughter loved all the toys, games, swing and trampoline. We even got to see a wallaby! We found Malcolm & Hanna's place a great place to recharge the batteries. Lots of greenery out the windows, clucking chickens gifting us daily fresh eggs, a cosy fire on a comfie couch... we were very happy, and most importantly Rosie our doggo was in heaven exploring the grounds and playing with resident doggos. Hosts were super responsive. Nice people with nice pets.

Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

The most perfect weekend for two couples, the place had everything you needed, books, DVD’s, games, wood for the fire. Beautiful surroundings and nature walks everywhere, we drove 20 minutes to explore Mt Baw Baw which was great also. The bath was also a standout! With candles and bath salts, they have thought out so much and it’s a perfect place to relax and unwind, and the beautiful birds that visit the deck are so sweet to hear and see. Kitchen amenities are great, we cooked up all our meals together.

Thank you both for the lovely stay. My family and I had a beautiful time. The house was very clean and had a perfect kitchen - had all that you need! Also, very warm. Kids loved the walking and exploring and choosing the marshmallows sticks to toast on fire. The property is at perfect distance for a day trip to the snow. We create so many family memories. Arrived from Melbourne in the darkness, woke up to the most amazing scenery, an absolutely gorgeous place. Short drive from the local shops and lake. I had my dog with me, we both loved the stay, will be back.

This place has oodles of charm. lots of home touches, the light was beautiful and the beds were soft with good quality bedding and linen. The floors and walls are gorgeous and the river is a real feature. the windows open from the bottom to let air in. The hosts were great, friendly and quick to respond. Would be gorgeous in summer or winter, only half an hour to Mount Buller too. Just beautiful. 5 stars.

Had a wonderful time. Awe inspiring views of the forest and mountains from the cottages private decking. Short drive to beautiful river walks. Very peaceful setting. Gunther was very friendly and responded quickly to messages. 30mbps wifi, 60 Mbps 4G phone reception. Would definitely recommend.

Christ is a lovely host and has very small house in a very peaceful surroundings. However, Chris was unaware of the booking the place was not ready for us to check in. Though we had to wait for a few hours for the place to be cleaned up, we enjoyed the surroundings and river meanwhile.

Our honeymoon at Kate's Airbnb was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, Kate's warmth and thoughtfulness made us feel so special. The personalized welcome letter was such a heartfelt touch, and we were blown away by the farm-fresh produce in the fridge and the delicious, homemade freshly baked bread. Every detail was perfect, creating an atmosphere of pure comfort and charm. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning views and wildlife that made every moment unforgettable. Kate is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay extraordinary. We can’t wait to return to this slice of paradise! Highly recommend to anyone seeking a truly memorable experience. We have stayed at a few bnbs now with a similar country charm but Eleventh Oak is by far our favourite trip to date.

The log cabin, surroundings and views were amazing. Both rooms comfortably appointed and the kitchen and dining area well laid out and functional. There is a steep gravel driveway leading up to the carport, so if you have a city car, be careful when driving up, especially if it is raining. There’s some steep stairs up to the cabin, but not too much of an issue. The cabin itself is very comfortable and with the ducted heating and fireplace in the lounge room it’s very cozy. The rooms have their own air conditioning to warm things up as well. The views are absolutely stunning especially in the morning. Coffee on the enclosed veranda with those views are definitely worth it. It is a bit of a drive up and down the mountain to get to places, but there are also very nice places close by to get food and breakfast in the morning. There’s a botanical garden nearby in Olinda which is a must see.

We recently stayed at this charming cabin in the woods, and it was a fantastic getaway! The serene surroundings and sounds of nature provided the perfect escape from daily life. It’s a perfect spot for hiking yet secluded enough for tranquility. The welcoming hosts offered excellent local recommendations. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to unwind—I can't wait to return!

If you are eager to throw a line and catch a trout in stunning surroundings then this cabin is the place for you - and the quality of meals at the Corner Hotel in Alexandra was a real surprise…superb, just superb…
