The Little House on Sanford

Our guest house is next door to our home and farm. A one-story, 2 bedroom with a newly remodeled bathroom and cottage style amenities is simple but includes some more modern touches for entertainment a comfort. Trails through the field and woods are available during the Summer and hunting off-season. Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times when outdoors. This area gets a significant amount of snow during the Winter but is right off the highway and a straightforward drive to Lake Erie.

Stillwater Stays is an adults-only venue offering peaceful, inspiring getaways. If you're traveling with kids, please inquire about special dates. You will stay in an upcycled shipping container that is nested in an old-growth forest perched 70’ above Perry Lake. New in 2022, the premium interior feels fresh and modern. Visiting the horses, bird watching, and hiking are guests' favorites. This cabin has been carefully placed to offer a private, 360-degree view of the surrounding wilderness.

Get away from it all, and enjoy time away. Spend time in the country, with all the comforts of home (and then some!). Pet / feed the animals, enjoy a campfire, walk the trails through the fields and the forest. Take an adventure outing at one of our suggested venues, or pick one of you own. Try it before you buy it! We are tucked away at the end of a dead end road in beautiful Norfolk County, located just a 10 min drive to Simcoe, Pt Dover and Turkey point, which have everything you would need. Relax in our cozy loft - stocked with all the essentials for your visit and enjoy country living! You can visit one of the many wineries or breweries we have in the county, grab some fresh produce at some of the local farm markets, or walk/bike one of the many trails in the area.

Boater's paradise, free boat ramp 4 blocks away. Located 10 minutes from Willow Ridge Golf Club, Erieau, Rondeau Provincial Park. Quiet, peaceful camping atmosphere. Very long driveway. There is kayak rental place with in walking distance. Check in is 3pm & Checkout time is 11am. Minimum 3 night stay on holiday weekends. We allow 4 people maximum at all times, no kids under 12, no tents. No Wifi.
