“WOW, the view - the photos don’t do it justice” say guests on arrival, and it’s true. The view will take your breath away day and night. Only a few hundred metres walk to Acacia Bay Beach to swim (or fish for trout) in the super clean freshwater lake. Oh, and the peace and quiet from this side of the lake. The cottage is modern, comfortable, & fully self-contained inc WM, drier and laundry powder. Only 7km to Taupo town centre so close enough to experience all Taupo township has to offer.

Only a 2 minute stroll to the lake edge with great restaurants, cafes & water activities close by. A comfy home away from home for your relaxing Taupo visit with free WIFI. # Please note there is a 2 night minimum stay for peak periods (including public holidays) and 1 night bookings on Friday and Saturday nights will only be accepted either on the day or possibly the day before.

Come and enjoy a lovely place to stay, while visiting the spectacular Taupo region.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).
