To the West, enjoy the Wapsipinicon River. Your stay includes a paddleboat for exploring the private lake. Kayaks are available for rent. Catch-and-release fishing on the private lake means no fishing license is required.

Outdoor space, gas grill, gas fire pit. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Old Mission Road House - A Home Away from Home

This is a newly built house with full kitchen. All dishes, pans and linens are supplied. There are 3 queen size bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms , washer and dryer. Flat screen TVs access to WIFI in the kitchen and in the loft area and also in each bedroom. Fully air conditioned. Front and back patio with chairs and table, grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Backbone State Park is three miles away. A great area for trout streams, hunting , hiking , golfing and snowmobling in the winter.

Our little spot is right on the mighty Mississippi river, a beautiful spot to relax, fish, bird watch including eagles! We feature a large deck facing the water to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail to watch sunsets. Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.
