Keepers Cottage Egton Bridge

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. In addition Malton, Pickering and the City of York. North York Moors is officially designated as Dark Skies Reserve right on our door step.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Luxury 2 bedroom barn conversion with log fire

Luxury 200 year old barn conversion in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Relax in comfort with underfloor heating and log burner fire. Both double bedrooms have smart TV’s & en-suite shower rooms. The open plan kitchen area is fully equipped and provides a large breakfast bar for socialising. The barn has a large private outdoor space with views of the moors. Pubs/restaurants/shops locally, Whitby is 20mins away together with fishing and moorland villages to visit nearby.

The Game Larder

The space is a reclaimed game larder dating from the late 1800's which has been lovingly restored and repurposed into a cosy and comfortable chalet. There are two beds, one upstairs in the loft and the other a sofa bed which folds out downstairs. There is a food preparation area complete with cups, plates, glasses etc. as well as a wood burning stove, hotub and television. The toilets and showers are a short walk away, along with a large fridge which are shared with the adjoining campsite.

Lealholm (approx 1 mile away) offers a village shop, pub, cafe and train station. Places to visit nearby include: Whitby, Runswick Bay (Britains best beach 2020), Dalby Forrest with miles of cycle routes and Grosmont the home of the North Yorkshire Moors railway.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.
