Beautifully located within the Thesen Island precinct with access to its facilities this unit is a penthouse with convenient access from your parking directly to the unit. Well maintained and kept well by Douglas who communicates clearly and is always close by if you need additional support.

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well organised flat with everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Great view over the lagoon!

Brilliant value for money! Beautiful apartment with a central location and everything you need for a short or a longer stay. Carla's communication was excellent, and self-checkin was easy with clear instructions. We only stayed one night which was a shame becauce Carla's place would be the perfect base from which to explore Knysna and surroundings. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit

Had the most amazing stay at The Loft with my partner and pup. Wonderful people and perfect location, especially for pet-friendly nearby activities. 10/10 would come again!

Great location and the flat was very clean. Michael was very helpful and accommodating as our plans changed last minute. Would recommend if you need a place for a few days and central location.

Das Apartment (the Gull) ist ein absoluter Geheim Tipp. Ruth kümmert sich herzlichst um Ihre Gäste und gibt alles um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen. Für Selbstversorger ist die Küche ein Juwel. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die makellose Sauberkeit in der gesamten Unterkunft. Ergänzt wird die Unterkunft von einer großzügigen Terrasse, einen wunderschönen Garten und direktem Zugang zum Meer. Der Strand vor dem Apartment lädt zu langen Spaziergängen ein. Beautiful family home with everything you need for a holiday. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. We loved our stay

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

The stay at Linden's place will definitely be a memorable one. The location is out of this world, it's so quiet and peaceful. Definitely a place we would love to go back to. The place itself is beautiful, small yet spacious at the same time. They had all the amenities listed plus an air fryer which we did not expect, that was a nice surprise. Would recommend this place 100%, the host responds quickly and always there to help.

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View! We had an amazing stay at Silvia’s Cottage! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the neighborhood is peaceful, and the apartment was spotless, lovingly decorated and very clean. Silvia welcomed us warmly and gave us a lovely farewell. She was also very quick and helpful in communication. The area is simply beautiful, and we can easily imagine coming back here again. Highly recommended!

The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the location is brilliant. Morné responded very quickly whenever needed and was super friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We have spent many holidays on Thesen Islands over the years, renting multiple homes on multiple islands. We have now found the perfect home for us. What you arrive to is so much better than any description or picture and exceeded all of our expectations without exception. It's a stunning North facing location with a wonderful view up the main canal. The home is very well appointed and most notably, for us and for my wife, spotlessley clean. Also very notably we were supplied with the small things that make a big difference and give you a sense of generosity by the hosts; toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, sponges, washing powder, hand soaps etc (you'll be shocked how many home stays don't supply the small things). We are so appreciative to Ilsebe for sharing her lovely home with us. 2026 is already booked. Can't wait! The Farrells

A huge thank you to Peter and Chery! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The highlight for me was the stunning view from the balcony — both in the morning and at sunset, it was absolutely breathtaking. The place is spotless, fully equipped, and thoughtfully maintained. Nothing was missing in the kitchen or bathroom. I truly enjoyed every moment, and if I come back, I’d love to stay here again without a doubt!

James is a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed his hospitality. The apartment was spacious with a balcony, with ample cooking tools. You can feel the breeze and enjoy the nice view of Pletternberg Bay when residing in James' place. James is also willing to accommodate to our late check-in request, which is very important for travellers in the Garden Route! One minor point to note is that there may be load shedding in the area but James makes sure we got enough candles. Rest assured that you are in good hands if you are residing here :)

The place is so beautiful and neat. A 1000% as seen on the pictures. There is a pristine pool just a walking distance away. The kitchen is fully functional with everything you could possibly need. The security is top tier. A real treat for someone looking for a peaceful stay away from the city. There is also a shopping mall for groceries (Checkers) and (Dischem) a +-2 mins walking distance away

Melanie’s unit in The Dunes estate was absolutely perfect for our weekend away. The estate is peaceful and private and provides access to one of the most spectacular beaches in South Africa. Melanie was an amazing host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone and would definitely stay again.
