This is a unique, cosy, self contained, elevated POD set in a private garden, close to the water, overlooking Kinsale Harbour and town, in the jewel of Kinsale - Summercove. You can relax while watching the boats go by, take long coastal walks, go for a swim in the ocean, dine in the local award winning pub/restaurant (The Bulman), explore the 16th century fort (Charles Fort), take a stroll into town or an electric bike & head out exploring. Cosy coastal eco-cabin with stunning ocean views

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. It’s set on its own private garden where you can truly enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing place and is also an ideal base for discovering so much including the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Penninsula.

Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
