We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Jim’s beautiful old home. So clean, so thoughtful & tasteful decorated. Great first sunny day for biking & hiking on Harlem Valley Rail Trail and close to restaurants in town. But also great second day when caught in snowstorm. Jim’s house is warm, cozy, comfortable, perfect for a day to relax, read, watch movies, cook, and enjoy the beautiful view. Thank you and we will certainly come back.

Such a fun old home, reminded my wife of the old farmhouse she grew up in. The location was perfect for our needs and there was enough space for everyone.

The location suited our needs perfectly. It was close to our Jehovah’s Witness facility in Patterson NY. We had a morning tour which made it very convenient, only 20 minutes away. We not only enjoyed the peaceful quietness, we were also able to do a little fishing at the boat docks right on the property of Candlewood Isle and caught a few fish.☺️

A perfect place for our family trip. Nestled in a peaceful beautiful area, close to the pond/lake. The home was so cozy and Monika was so responsive to our messages. Definitely would stay there again

We loved our stay here. 4 nights, and we did not want to leave. Dreamy, private location, surrounded by woods. Angela and Nico were responsive and gave us all the info needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Julia was an absolute pleasure. I required some special accommodations which we had discussed prior to my visit, and she was amazing about it. The property is stunning. I would 100% recommended Julia’s place, and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Beautiful home, exactly how it was described and looked even better in person. Incredible surrounding areas and activities. Steven was helpful throughout the stay and incredibly flexible. Wonderful host! Will definitely be planning a yearly visit.

We started at David’s place for a bachelorette party and had an amazing time! The view over the lake is unreal and there was plenty of space for eight of us total. The driveway is a little bit tricky to get in and out of, but we had no issues at all – just flagging for those with larger cars and/or coming in bad weather.

We sought out a quiet and peaceful place we could stay after a long winter. We got exactly that with Monica's home in Kent, Connecticut. We traveled with two dogs and our toddler. This home was able to accommodate that. Our toddler has a lot of energy and seeking out a place where we could get all of his energy out but still maintain a peaceful atmosphere, so we thought, would be hard. But tucked away in the beautiful forest of Kent, we found a place where our toddler could run through the large property and he had plenty of activities inside as well. Monica had everything equipped for families with children. Due to weather, the internet went out the day before we were to check out and unfortunately remained that way the remainder of the trip. But Monica was quick to inform me and we were able to find plenty of activities to do in the home. We truly appreciated all the amenities that this home had to offer for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our stay at Kartik's very charming house was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The house itself is beautifully decorated, blending comfort and character effortlessly. The location was perfect- peaceful yet conveniently close to many trails, activities in Bethlehem (great indoor flea market) and Bantam lake. We especially loved hanging in the living room close to the fireplace watching the scenic views. Kartik was an exceptional host, responsive, kind and full of great recommendations. Thank you, the whole family had a blast!

This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return! Jennifer was a great host and easily communicated before and during our stay. This property was great for some R&R in the pool and especially the hot tub!! Short ride to many hiking trails and some wineries added to the weekend. We made big meals at the house each night but there are some towns nearby with dinner options. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with family or friends Jennifer's place is the spot!

I believe this is our 4th or 5th visit here. We finally got to meet Mijail. What a great couple. We come back here because we really like staying there and it is so convenient to our daughter's house nearby. And its so nice to get away after a day with the grandkids. Pop a bottle of wine and unwind. We enjoyed the ceiling fan on arrival day as it was hot outside, but nice and cool inside. There is a big TV, but in all the stays we were there, we never once turned it on. Two energetic grandkids is exhausting. So its nice to retreat. This place is very private up on a hill. We never hear any neighbors. We will be back again.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. I chose Marlene’s lovely spot primarily because it was in a location convenient for short trips to visit family and friends in Wallingford, Middlebury and Middletown while on my way south from New Hampshire. The peaceful, quiet surroundings along with a spotless, well-appointed accommodation made it very appealing: highly recommended.

Jeff is an awesome host! Would love to stay there again. He went above and beyond for our puppy when we were delayed coming back from the airport. He checked on her and made us feel reassured that our puppy was ok. The place is cozy, love the fireplace, and the home is beautiful.
