Hood National Forest. 15 minutes from Government Camp and walking distance to the Sandy River, this renovated 1970s retreat offers two king bedrooms, a cozy open loft with a double hide-a-bed, a wrap-around deck, and a private hot tub nestled in the trees. With modern style, a stocked kitchen, and soft linens, it’s the perfect year-round escape for couples, friends, or families.

The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

Pets are welcome with a $75 fee per pet, so the whole family can enjoy this peaceful mountain retreat!
