This house is beautiful, the best view with my morning coffee I’ve had in this country. And so much wildlife, we had deer at the front window regularly amoungst lots of other! The host was so helpful and even put a Christmas tree in the house for us over our stay… Which can’t of been easy with how rural you are! Looking forward to coming back to experience it all again in the summer

Es war sehr schön bei Margaret Ann. Der Ausblick vom Wohnzimmer auf das Meer war traumhaft und Margaret Ann war eine super Gastgeberin. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Good quality finishes to the Little House. Everything you need to hand.Comfortable beds and furniture. Settee big enough for my tall partner to stretch out on and the matching chair was perfect for me to curl in. Host is very friendly and helpful.Wished we had booked longer.

Wow...stunning location on the banks of Loch Tay we had a truly memorable stay at the lodge and everything we needed was at hand. The host Nina was in regular contact before our stay and made us feel welcome. Thankyou.

Millie communicated with us quickly and positively because we were unsure of our arrival time. She quickly arrived to greet us when we arrived and chatted telling us of the local amenities. The cottage was in a beautiful setting, parking excellent for where we were in the village. Sitting eating meals and watching for dolphins was a huge time waster but kept the children occupied. We would definitely stay again.

Tolle Gegend, klasse Cottage. Pub um die Ecke, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten klein aber toll, alles, was man benötigt zu wirklich guten Preisen. Schöne Unterkunft mit zwei Schlafzimmern, gut ausgestatteter Küche, gemütliches Wohnzimmer. Parkplatz fürs Auto auf dem Grundstück. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen und das Cottage buchen. Herzlichen Dank an Howard, der ein toller Gastgeber war und immer sofort erreichbar.

We loved our stay here, the house & surroundings are beautiful. The photos of johns house were great but it’s actually more stunning in real life, we were so happy to stay here. It has everything you could need like a home from home and really don’t need to leave the property but it is great that there are 2 pubs within walking distance. The scenery and surrounding are just spectacular. John was very helpful and responded quickly when we contacted him. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks John, my family and I had a great time.

The Bothy was a great place to spend a few days. It was warm, clean, cosy and well equipped. It is really peaceful and private and with lots of walks from the door around the estate including access to the coastline. The cafe was great with lovely food and friendly staff and just a couple of mins walk from the door. I was glad of bringing an eye mask, as with it being a barn conversion, the windows are too high to block out early morning light. Also, wood is provided which is great, but be prepared to chop it up with the axe provided. We would certainly stay there again, loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is comfortable and homey, with a great size kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Alessandro was extremely responsive when we had an issue. My group all agreed we would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

I cannot recommend Mairi’s place enough. Our stay in the Isle of Skye has been absolutely amazing. The bungalow is equipped with everything including an air fryer which we found really handy! We could park the car in front of the house and very easily accessible. It’s situated in a great location in Portree with amenities all reachable within a few minutes. The place was super comfortable and is the exact definition of a home away from home. And what about the front garden! My 2 year old daughter loved it so much and it was great to see her play whilst relaxing myself after and day trekking. Would love to stay here again one day if we have the chance!! Wonderful place to stay and really well equiped. Lovely to have the wood fire on in the evening. Comfy beds and everything was catered for. Some highlights include Glenelg Village (and the pub); some lovely walks; and if you get the opportunity to take the Glenelg Ferry to Skye don't miss it. There's also a lovely wee cafe at the ferry terminal that does a lovely coffee and home baked pasties (community run). Many thanks for your hospitality Sarah and family.

A casa é excelente, muito confortável e aconchegante. Camas muito gostosas e uma sala espaçosa, com vista para as montanhas, de tirar o fôlego. A casa tem todos os itens necessários para uma estadia longa. Gostaríamos de ter ficado mais tempo. A localização é ótima e fomos a pé para o centro. A vaga no estacionamento é muito boa também. Fica a poucos minutos de carro dos pontos turísticos mais importantes da região, dentre eles a trilha para Old man of Store. O centro tem ótimos restaurantes e cafés. Recomendamos muito o espaço de Baya em Skye.

This bungalow has LOTS of space inside and several different areas you can sit in. The bungalow is very disabled friendly with wide doorways, one bedroom has an accessible wet room/ toilet and there is a ramp up to the back door. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and the very large front and rear gardens are great for children and pets, but, if you have children or dogs that are inclined to wander, watch out as the gardens are not secure. Keith is a very welcoming and helpful host who leaves some items on the kitchen table for you to enjoy! 😋 We would definitely stay again! X

Would definitely recommend staying at Colin and Irene’s. The accommodation is lovely, spotlessly clean, very convenient and very well maintained. Colin and Irene are great hosts, very welcoming and hospitable, always available if needed. We received such a warm welcome with home made scones! The perfect place for us to stay to visit family. We will definitely be back.
