There is plenty to do on and around the loch including hill walking, mountain climbing, water sports, fishing, cycling and just general sight seeing. There are no shops at Rowardennan so be sure to be organised with supplies. Asda,Sainsury’s, Morrisons, Tesco etc all deliver there. EV charger available.

The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

A newly redecorated self catered pet friendly cosy log cabin nestled in the private grounds of Ardoch Lodge a 9 acre Victorian Hunting Lodge. This stunning log cabin is set in a wooded area covered with bluebells in the spring some distance from the house, with private car parking, and outside dining area. The cabin is furnished and equipped to the highest standards making it cosy and comfortable at any time of the year. We also offer EV charging on site.

This quiet hillside location is the perfect place to stay if you or your family are looking for a peaceful place to stay. The lodge sleeps up to 4 persons with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which can be set up for one or two persons. One well behaved dog is allowed. Unfortunately I do not allow cats The most perfect location for a well deserved break.
