Excellent walks and cycle routes in the area, a wealth of wildlife around, curious sheep that come to the fence and views looking over to Morecambe Bay and the Lakeland Fells. There are lots of fantastic eateries nearby. 20 mins from M6 Junction 34.

Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle are all within easy reach. The Three Peaks challenge is nearby.
