Min and Glen have an awesome place, great location and not far from the beach. We love bringing our dog on trips and Min and Glen were very accommodating. Also we had to change dates and Min made it stress free. We would totally stay at the City Woes 2 Sandy Toes again.

We were in town to celebrate our son’s wedding. Casey and Carl’s home was the perfect place the to rest in between activities. The master sweet was an oasis amid very busy days. We loved the back fire pit to roast hot dogs and make s’mores. We highly recommend this home!

We really enjoyed the stay at the Cottage. We’ve been coming to OKI for years through Airbnb and haven’t been disappointed; this place was no different! Very clean, lots of kitchen tools/appliances, quiet street: we would definitely come back.

This air bnb was perfect for what we needed! We were road tripping down to Florida (3 adults, 1 infant, and 1 dog) and this was the perfect place! We booked last minute as we saw this as the better option over a hotel and I’m so happy we did. Our pup enjoyed the yard and our family fit very comfortably in the home. Definitely would recommend and come back!

We had a great stay at Kolleen’s place. Loved the front screened porch to relax in and listen to the birds. Was very peaceful. We came down for Easter and to visit my son, who lives in Oak Island. Kolleen’s place was just as described and had plenty of room for my family of 5. We even hosted dinner, one evening, for 7 of us (plus 2 dogs) and there was plenty of room. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, just a little tricky crossing the main road (but doable). The bikes were an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed a short-term rental while our home was being completed, and Brandi's home was the perfect fit. The location was ideal—close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The spacious yard was great for our pups, and the quiet neighborhood provided a lovely setting for walks. Brandi was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. If I were simply visiting the area, I would highly recommend this location, as it offers convenient access to a variety of attractions, from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington.

The House of Zen was the perfect stay for my mom, myself, and my 2 pups. The backyard space was perfect for my dogs and was very peaceful. Hosts were very responsive and checked in by messaging during our stay. We were very happy with our stay! :)

This was our second time staying at Reeve’s place while on a road trip. Only a few minutes off of 95. My mom and I had our two dogs with us. The pool house is the perfect size for two people. Both the bed and pull out are super comfortable. We were able to keep the gates to the pool closed so that our dogs didn’t bother the house dogs - although they are very sweet and quiet pups! Will definitely stay again on our next drive down 95. Thanks for having us back!

Jessica was very responsive. The place was spotless and very cozy. The backyard was our favorite hangout spot! The kids enjoyed the big back yard to run around in, they didn’t want to leave.

Cliff is always great and responsive. We have rented his places before and it has always been a great experience. Thanks again for another great stay!

Jordan was a dream to work with and her place was wonderful! She was always responsive when I reached out with questions and the house was a perfect spot for us for our weekend in myrtle beach. It was just a quick walk to the beach, and the kids really enjoyed the pool and being on the inlet. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great spot at the beach for the family!

We had such a great time here that our 6 year old son cried when it was time to leave! The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and the backyard is truly an oasis. The pool and backyard area can’t be beat! The pool toys provided along with the backyard games were such a fantastic addition to our stay. Upon arrival, we were met with a box of baked goods and even little chocolates on the beach towels! It was such a nice touch that we’ve never experienced before at a rental. The beach is only a five minute walk away and the restaurants at barefoot landing are only a five minute drive. This location really is amazingly convenient! The neighborhood felt safe and we enjoyed going for walks with our dog in it. This truly felt like home away from home and we hope to be back in the future!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway! Walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. We stayed here for our daughter’s softball tournament and it had everything we needed! Highly recommend.

We had a great weekend. This is a wonderful home and dog-friendly. Our dog was at home and the location was perfect for us. Robert was extremely helpful and great to get to know. The next time we find ourselves heading to Oak Island, we will stay here. Thanks for everything! Ken

We had a great time - the house had everything we needed, in a great location where you can walk to the beach and fishing pier, and a short drive to everywhere else. Highly recommended!

The cabin was lovely and right on the river. We didn’t have much luck with the fishing unfortunately but that didn’t matter too much because we enjoyed how nice and peaceful It was on the floating dock. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the played a few games of cornhole that was available at the cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and no issues with cleanliness or odors as another review stated. In the photos the cabin looks pretty remote. However there are other homes/cabins next to it, so just be aware. The ones on either sides of us were empty while we were there so no issues. We loved the cabin and will likely be back for another weekend getaway.

This stay was close to everything and far enough away from the main drag to have the best of both worlds. It was cold, but we made sure to walk to the beach which was very close. Communication was proactive and helpful. This was an all around good experience.

Great space! Several renovations since our last visit! New refrigerator and dishwasher. It’s in a great location and has a fenced yard so our dogs can run around and let off steam. Has an outdoor shower which was convenient to wash off sand and give the dogs a bath after the beach. It’s also nearby several great restaurants and putt putt, most of which are walkable. The house is only 4 blocks from the beach and my husband and I walked daily with a little pull cart carrying our beach essentials. Would highly Recommend!

First Airbnb rental - location was awesome, easy access to the beach. Friendly neighbors and a great neighborhood. The home was spacious, the kitchen was more than adequately stocked with necessities for eating and cooking. There was adequate room, seating etc for our family. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the home and location. Sydney was very responsive to a few minor maintenance issues and quickly had them resolved. Thank you Sydney!

This was a perfect stay while visiting the area. I loved the location, as it reminded me of the old south that I visited as a child. Amber is very responsive.
