This was our annual girls weekend away with 5 ladies. We had an amazing time at Danielle’s place! Check in was easy (we loved the snack that was left - thank you!) and everything was spotless. We loved the privacy and the incredible views from the deck; and we all loved the hot tub. We even saw 4 deer! This was a relaxing mini vacation that we all enjoyed.

We had 7 people travelling together and this place had all the room and amenities we needed. Big kitchen to cook in, great common area to relax in together and a fabulous view of the lake. It was early in the season so too cold to use the pool but it looked like it would be great. Thanks for having us!

PAM &J.P on été extraordinaires. Nous avons été ravis par notre séjour et sommes tombés en amour avec la Nouvelle-Ecosse. Les animaux étaient un extra inattendus. Gustave va beaucoup s’ennuyer de Maple. Petit commentaire QUI N’EST PAS UNE CRITIQUE. Le réfrigérateur n’est pas très grand alors, ne pas faire une trop grosse épicerie à chaque fois. Nous sommes arrivés avec trop de choses et tout ne rentrait pas. Mais encore une fois ce n’est pas grave. Il y une épicerie pas tres loin. Ça se fait très bien. Faut juste pas prévoir trop longtemps d’avance si vous avez une grosse famille comme la mienne. La piscine est extraordinaire!!!!! Près de pleins de belles plages . Nous avons passé un super beau moment en famille!!!

Fantastic hosts. Dream heritage property with total privacy and a heated pool in a park like setting; we booked that property pretty much every year for the last seven years. Rob and Barb are constantly improving the property, there is always something new to discover, whether it's a new appliance, or a brand new landscaped river frontage inviting you to sit and watch river and ocean life whilst sipping a glass of tasty red provided with the welcome basket. We enjoyed eating out at the Lunenburg restaurants, as much as we enjoyed cooking a delicious meal at their place, which is fully equipped, one can easily cook up a gourmet meal. Golden! Everything went smoothly and as expected. Helen was very communicative, and the air bnb provided everything that they said they would and more. Sad we couldn’t use the pool but understandable it was cold

Dan's home was even better than the pictures suggested. The property is stunning, inside and out. Dan was a very thoughtful host, and was quick to reply when we had any questions. Everything was nicely laid out and was easy to locate. All the instructions we needed were located in the welcome booklet. Some days it was almost difficult to leave the house and go into the city because everything there was so great. We had an amazing time at Dan's place and would recommend it to everyone.

What an amazing place! Thomas greeted us as we arrived and gave us a tour of the house and amenities. Land Yacht sits directly on the shore with a spectacular view of the ocean. The house was very comfortable for our family reunion of 11; and everyone especially enjoyed the indoor heated pool! The kitchen was well stocked, the house was immaculate, and the nautical themed decor was beautiful. Couldn’t have had a better time. Land Yacht is highly recommended and we will definitely return!

My family and I were in the city for a couple days, this was a home away from home. There was plenty of space for our group of 6. The upper deck was quite enjoyable and was an added bonus. Jay was enjoyable to communicate with.

Owl & Otter is a beautiful place to stay. It was easy to find, check in, and find everything we needed. The location was peaceful with a little walk down to the lake. With 13 people staying, we were a little concerns about space. But- we were pleasantly surprised with how big the location was. We spent 3 days 2 nights and not once did anyone feel crammed or like they couldn’t get some space. All over, it was a great stay and we would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a larger place for a stay. Thanks so much Emily!

We loved our stay! The apartment was very cute, clean, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Emma was a fantastic host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We also really liked the location—close to everything we needed, but still quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage right on the water! After busy days hiking and exploring Nova Scotia, coming back to relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit was perfect. The cottage itself is cozy and beautifully decorated - small but thoughtfully arranged, making it feel homey. A great choice for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommended!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in March. We lucked out on the most beautiful weather. The space was beyond anything we could imagine for a relaxation retreat to celebrate a birthday. The space had everything we needed to cook, clean and be completely restful. There were extra pillows, blankets, amenities within the showers. The hot tub and sauna were amazing! the huge windows and natural light were a nice touch. All the light switches, and dials were clearly visibly labeled and easy to use! Jordan and his team were responsive, we had no issues or needs our entire stay! Will book again, and highly recommend staying at this amazing ocean side location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

We recently stayed at Anni’s place and were extremely pleased with the entire experience. The entire place was very clean and comfortable. Easy check in and check out process, and great location. Anni was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here!

Our stay at Mark and Kassy’s home was comfortable and relaxing.The home was spotless and well organized.The kitchen appliances and bathroom are in excellent condition and well appointed.There is back porch with a grill,gas fire pit and outdoor jacuzzi which we did not use. The home is located a short distance to the center of this charming peaceful town. We highly recommend this property and would stay again the next time we’re in Lunenburg.

Sherry's place is a dream! Cozy, charming, and very private, tucked away in the sweetest little spot on the river. The unit is as described and Sherry provides very helpful instructions, including on using the wood stove (absolutely a must do, it is so charming) and the firepit. Close enough to many sweet towns and beaches, while still not unreasonably far from bigger cities, including Halifax proper. We stayed here as two friends reconnecting, but it would also be absolutely perfect for a couples retreat. We'll be back! Highly recommend.

Our long weekend at Thomas’s house was perfect, the home was clean & we had lots of space for our family of 6. The property was very secluded & it was nice to have the private beach just steps away. We were only minutes from all the amenities in Lunenburg, yet the surroundings were so quiet we saw groups of deer every trip down the lane to the home. We highly recommend Thomas’s house to everyone!
