What a beautiful place! We loved that all the rooms had an ensuite so no one in our group missed out on their own bathroom. The hot tub was great to warm up in after a cool autumn swim at the beach and we loved lighting the fire and watching the stars.

We stayed for a couple of nights and had a wonderful time. The house is very secluded and we didn't see/hear anyone for the duration of our stay. The pictures don't really prepare you for how close the water is and how expansive the view, it was really special. Also, the main living space feels so much bigger than it looks which was also a nice surprise. Looking forward to staying again next year :)

This is a beautiful property for a large group. Setting is stunning and so peaceful. Our family loved it and we made good use of the games room and pool, despite a very wet day. I would definitely recommend this house.

Chris is an excellent host and this is an ideal property for a big family or two small families. The kitchen is well equipped, outdoor space is beautiful and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay and time in Dunsborough (15 minutes walk).

This was one of the best homes we've stayed in. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It was comfortable well organised. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again.

It was one of the best Airbnbs we've ever experienced. The place was gorgeous and spotless, making us feel right at home. The fresh linen provided a great night's sleep, and they even accommodate dogs, which was fantastic for our 6-month-old Cavoodle pup. The living space and one bedroom open up to a charming garden bordering a stream. The property is fenced with a wired mesh. The house was well-equipped and impeccable. The location was brilliant, with Margaret River activities just 10 minutes away, including the lake and Mammoth Cave. The host was fantastic. On the day we arrived, it rained heavily, and we had to cancel some outdoor activities. I messaged the host to ask if we could check in early, and they kindly allowed us access 45 minutes before the check-in time! We hope to come back again soon. Highly recommended!

I stayed over Easter at Lisa’s place with my family. Very comfortable and homely. Well equipped kitchen. The house was clean and tidy. Outside fenced off back area was excellent for our dog - bit of a rarity to find on regional/rural properties. Lovely surroundings at Rivendell. Only thing to be aware of is that the mobile reception and wifi are basically non-existent (for everyone we travelled with, even with different phones, telecommunication providers).

This property was simply amazing and we loved every minute of our stay. A lot of thought has gone into making it very enjoyable and comfortable. It was so nice to watch the sunrise from the back porch and listen to all the different animals - the perfect way to start the day. The host, Tim, was always quick to respond to any questions.

It was a perfect experience. Our three families and four children stayed there without feeling crowded at all. The three bathrooms were sufficient for our use. The outdoor space was very large, allowing the children to get closer to nature. The host thoughtfully prepared essential household items, making us feel at home. We were very happy.
