The Donkey Dairy Cottage - Farm Stay

The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Enjoy beautiful views of the river & bushveld from your bedroom and balcony. Dip in and picnic at the crystal clear river on your doorstep. Recharge and reconnect to each other. It has an ideal "honeymoon suite" and a family room joined by a "Jack & Gill" Bathroom, extra sleeper couch downstairs & a separate shower room. Its also suited for small groups like meditation/yoga practitioners in a meditation space and balconies with nature views. If you seek to re-connect, Greenwood is for you.

Ziggysriver cottage (Rc) is heaven on earth.

Spoil yourself in our well equipped private ,peaceful Ziggysriver cottage on the banks of the Magalies River. Plenty of birdlife plus the resident Finfoot. Wake up to the sounds of nature and explore the trail of +-9 km , walking, cycling or birding. Visit Sterkfontein Caves and the Maropeng World Heritage Site in the Cradle of Humankind. Enjoy a dip in the cold water splash pool on a hot summers day ( Note the splash pool is closed from 30 April- 30 September) or sit by the open fire .

The area offers shopping, animal sanctuaries, cable car, restaurants, movie sets, etc. We are in a nature estate with free roaming animals & fauna and flora expected in such an estate. No additional- or day visitors allowed. Possibility of noise from the resort, golf course and building activities.

Studio #292

Studio #292 is situated on a smallholding in Hartbeespoort on the slope of the Magaliesberg with a panoramic view of Hartbeespoortdam and surrounding areas. On the other side of the Studio is another listing, Coucal Cottage. The two listings are separated by a passage and linen room. The Studio has a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster and frying pan (makes a lovely breakfast or stir-fry). The Studio is within 15 minutes driving to Village Mall and other shops.

Magaliesberg Mountain Lodge

Our Lodge on the mountain has the best views in the Magaliesberg. With sweeping vistas over the valley, you'll be immediately at peace gazing from the patio. A traditional thatch bush home, The Lodge has been lovingly updated with modern, artistic character. Despite a short 1hr 10 min drive from the city, you'll be transported to the heart of nature in this 2,000 hectare game conservancy. Zebras, giraffes, baboons and buck roam freely with occasional visits to our drinking hole.

wild Syringa offers self-catering accommodation sleeping 2 guests in 1 bedroom. There are two bedrooms, a lounge/dining area/kitchen area. The lounge has a fireplace. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, fridge and stove. There is a braai facility \. It has a fenced area' The cottage is off grid supplying solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No other appliances may be used.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Unique, self-catering unit in tranquil setting, with view of the mountains. Close to features like Hartbeespoortdam Cableway, French Toast (Little Paris), Pretville, the Elephant and Monkey Sanctuary etc. This bachelor unit does have a loadshedding solution, with a small electric footprint - electric blanket for the winter.

Kosmos Heights Self Catering Accom. - Unit One

Unit 1 is a Luxury apartment suitable for 2 guests (unfortunately no children) with amazing views over the dam. There is one bedroom fitted with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with 2 showers and a Jacuzzi bath and fully equipped kitchen. The unit is not wheelchair friendly, as there is a step leading to the bathroom.
