From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

This cabin is titled The Getaway as it can serve as a place where you can truly escape a busy life to truly take a break. Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometres from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and explore on foot. Stay busy with board and lawn games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway. Welcome to our Hideaway at Sylvan! We are excited for you to stay in our cozy cabin, and for it to be a home away from home for your stay in Sylvan Lake! We are located just a half block from a quiet beach, in the peaceful Cottage neighborhood. Walk the beautiful Strip to downtown restaurants, children's parks, local shops & breweries, or spend the day at the beach, and enjoy a relaxing paddle. Our Cozy Cabin features a fire pit, front and back decks, large yard and provided parking.

Spectacular stargazing and breathtaking sunsets, on natures doorstep in your own private oasis! Our newest addition, this 530sq ft dome has all the comforts of home in a unique retreat setting, built on our family farm. The Swedish house is a tribute to my grandfathers heritage. Cozy King bed, fully equipped kitchen with all the basic essentials. Full size shower in the full bathroom! The dome is heated by a top of the line cast iron wood stove! NEW ADDITION: loft w/queen bed!

Steps to Beach with Hot Tub

We are steps from the beach and Sylvans new huge park at the beach! We have a hot tub and small yard available for pets. Our charming space is equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a getaway at the lake. We have coffee, 8 beds including one king sized, games for the family, toiletries, towels and even a wagon for the beach! We can accommodate more guests as long as they are under the age of 18, please send me a message if you'd like to discuss what we can acommodate!

The walking trails are perfect for snowshoeing, cross country skiing and driving snow machines down to the lake. The fire pit, BBQ and backyard is a place to relax and unwind. No internet- just a pure escape from the hustle with total peace and quiet. The cabin is stocked with games and a gas fireplace.
