We had a wonderful stay at Kimiko’s Beach Loft! The space felt warm, welcoming and so so cozy with the wood burning fireplace. We had it going all weekend! The outdoor space was just as awesome as the indoor. Kimi and Scott thought of it all - we had everything we needed. We checked out some antique spots down the road, had a dip in the ocean, enjoyed the hot tub and cooked all weekend! It truly was a special weekend!

Spent another great weekend this Easter at Kayla’s . Super weather to go for long walks on the county road . This is the perfect private hideaway with an amazing view . Super clean and comfortable. The only downside was having to leave !

Mark's place was lovely! I and a group of 7 adults came here for a getaway. The pellet stove was super nice and easy to use and the hot tub was just as relaxing. Overall we didn't have any issue with the hot tub only fitting 6 as usually we didn't all want to use it at once anyways. Some of us found that the beds were even more comfortable than our beds back home and the place felt well put together. Surroundings were beautiful, peaceful and private with lots of outdoor seating. We also made use of the outdoor games that were available! The kitchen had everything we needed.Mark was also a fantastic host and responded to us within 10 minutes when we had any questions. Overall would definitely return!

All six of us had a great stay at Jennifer’s place. From the clean and relaxing hot tub to the beautiful nature that surrounded the cottage. The kitchen and bedrooms were all very well laid out and the living room with fireplace was great for socializing. Would highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay for 2 nights. The cottage was spotless on our arrival and had loads of amenities. The hot tub and fire pit was a huge hit and the area is very quiet and peaceful for a perfect little getaway. Highly recommend Dean’s place.

This is our first trip to the east coast and staying in Joseph’s place has put a lot of high expectations on the rest of the trip. I couldn’t complain about washing dishes with the view from the kitchen. Bright and cheerful. Sit in the rocking chair watching the fisherman check their traps could entertain me for days. Very clean home , reminds me of staying with family. Hot tub was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed and would love to stay again if we come back. Thanks so much for sharing !

This private accommodation was just as described and exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well equipped (ample supply of dishes, glasses pots/pans & some food provisions to start the stay), clean and comfortable to work in. The view was exceptional (we were very lucky with the weather!) and the clear, dark night sky was spectacular. The bed was comfortable and roomy, with high quality linens. The jet tub was very relaxing. The warmth from the wood stove made the whole place cosy... great for reading a good book with a glass of 🍷. Thanks for sharing Myrtle!

Doreen's place was delightful! My partner and I stayed for about a week and did not want to leave. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and the view to the ocean was spectacular! We loved the proximity to nature, biking and hiking trails, local surfing areas, and Halifax. We will definitely be back!

I had a lovely stay at David and Nancy's cottage. The cottage was roomy, spotlessly clean and fully equipped (the kitchen had a few items in it that I don't even have in my own kitchen). It was comfortable and convenient and David and Nancy were responsive, kind and generous. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I am in Hubbards. (I'd come back just for Nancy's homemade chocolate mints!)

Absolutely amazing place and attentive hosts! Since booking my stay the hosts were proactive in letting me know things to do and also quick to respond to all my questions. This was the only Airbnb I have stayed at that had a freshly baked pie waiting for me in the kitchen when I arrived and breakfast was included for my stay. The grand piano in the cottage was freshly tuned and sounded incredible, the hosts even invited me out for a few beers and a musical jam sesh! The surroundings are gorgeous and the amenities were freely available such as kayak, life jacket, fishing gear and all the wood I could want to light a fire. The bathroom was clean and had all necessary toiletries. Thank you Peter and Hendrix for a great stay!

This was our second stay and we’ve already decided this is the place we want to go next year for our annual gathering. Beautiful views of the lake, fully stocked cottage, friendly hosts.

Had an amazing weekend! The house was very cozy and fit all of us fine with plenty of places to sleep. Great location and so much to do between kayaking, playing pool, board games walking the trail and more! Would definitely return.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage by the water! The house itself was gorgeous with a cozy layout that made us feel right at home. One of our favorite features was the indoor fireplace—it added such a warm and charming touch to the house. The sunsets from the beachfront were absolutely breathtaking, and it was amazing to have that view right outside our door. The location was perfect—close to town and everything we needed, while still feeling peaceful and secluded. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Had such an incredible time at Danny & Lynn's! The place was spotless, beds were super comfy, gorgeous views of the lake and such cute little touches like the little lights along the trees in the backyard! Also was so sweet to have some wine waiting for us when we arrived. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again some time!

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

Stones Throw Cottage is our favourite spot on the LaHave River. We continue to go back because of the location, private setting in a nice little cove , but also because of how well the cottage is set up and now to make it even better, it has a heat pump! Views of the river right from the deck and dining table are beautiful with wildlife sightings daily!! Joe the host is excellent and responds quickly, and is a great person.

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

We honestly couldn't believe how beautiful and pristine the property was, the picture's don't do it justice! We ended up arriving later on in the evening, so seeing the water and views in the morning was breaking! The place was so cozy, and had absolutely everything you would need. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone, with a few of us already dreaming of another getaway here!

We absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the cottage. The place was spotlessly clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could possibly need. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. The property is absolutely stunning—immaculately landscaped, with a spacious lawn leading right to the lake and a lovely sandy beach. The grounds were ideal for families, with lots of room for the kids to run, play, and even ride their bikes on the hard surface areas. In the evenings, the adults enjoyed gathering around the fire pit—it was the perfect spot to unwind. Inside, the home was just right for our large family gathering. We had four couples and five little ones, and the space worked beautifully—comfortable, open, and thoughtfully laid out for both togetherness and relaxation. Caitlin was a fantastic host—so easy to communicate with, warm, and responsive. The whole experience felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying in a typical rental. It was charming, cozy, and truly special. We’re already looking forward to the chance to return!
