Courtyard Cottage is a charmingly restored 1940's fisherman's cottage, which includes an adjacent studio. The Main Cottage contains a bed for 2, bathroom, and kitchen, and the Studio functions as a spacious living room with TV, game table, and sectional. The buildings are surrounded by a fenced courtyard and patio which makes for a relaxing and private getaway. The community beach is just a short walk downhill. The Clinton Ferry is 3 miles away and Langley is a 15-minute drive.

Our studio apartment has a private entrance and a private Juliet balcony to enjoy stunning views of Puget Sound. Sleep in comfort on a Tempurpedic bed with adjustable head and foot lift. Additional sofa bed for extra guests. All necessities provided. Private indoor pool with views out to Puget Sound. Many attractions are within a 10 minute walk, including Mukilteo beach, the ferry terminal, the Sounder train to downtown Seattle or Mukilteo town.

DINING area Seats 4 (can seat up to 8 w/advance notice.) LIVING area w/wood burning stove. QUEEN BEDROOM/LOFT w/small bathroom and BUNK BEDROOM with nearby downstairs bathroom that was just remodeled. DECK w/seating for 8 when weather allows and a year-round BBQ.

This is a comfortable, two-bedroom home at the top of the bluff, with stunning views west across Useless Bay and the Puget Sound to the mountains of the Olympic Peninsula. At the foot of our path down the bluff, you'll find our beach-front cabin, a magical spot on Maxwelton Beach. Useless Bay is so shallow that at low tide you can walk for miles along the tidal flats.

The Loft

The Loft is close to the beach and family-friendly activities. You’ll love the space because of the natural light shining through the surrounding nature, vaulted ceilings, comfy bed, fully equipped kitchen, full bath with standing shower including local natural products. The Loft is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

A quiet Whidbey Island hideaway designed for slowing down.
