One of the most unique Airbnb places we've stayed in. The apartment has a lot of stairs, but climbing up them is well worth the effort! It is situated on the top floor of an old bank. It's been renovated to be bright and modern with an open concept. The high ceilings and large windows, makes the place airy and bright. Beds were comfortable. A full kitchen had everything needed. Lots of hot water-pressure great. Extra bonuses - a balcony off the back of the apartment overlooks the Manistee River and there's a vintage movie theater just across the street. The river is a freighter channel with drawbridges! You can check in advance to see when ships will pass and if you are lucky, you may see one. The Vouge theater seems to show one new movie, a classic movie, and an indy type movie. The rest of the neighborhood is all 19th century/early 20th century buildings - pubs, coffee shops, a restaurant, antique shops, etc. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 50 mins away. I booked Ogden View Manor for my daughter and young grandson who came for a visit during the Christmas holiday. They loved the comfortable, cozy feeling of the unit. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essential pans and dishes needed. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The house was in a beautiful neighborhood and just a short walk from the park. I would definitely book Brian's place again when other family come to Escanaba for a visit. It was a great location to stay and explore much of the U.P.

It was a great stay with Sommer and Russell at Beck Plaza this winter. The hosts were very accommodating, the space had everything I needed to settle in for several weeks, and the location was super convenient right on Ludington in Escanaba, just a short walk away from restaurants. I would recommend these hosts to anyone else looking to check out the Escanaba area.

Super cute Airbnb. Very welcoming and beds are extra comfortable. Incredibly clean and a lot of extras included. Response was within minutes when we needed wood for the fire pit. Definitely recommend this adorable place to stay.

Felicia's rental unit is better than the photos! :) It is peaceful, calm, and in a picturesque part of Manistee. The unit has great windows: in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is so much great natural light that makes this place feel extra special and homey. Spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed and furniture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Relaxing bathtub. I stayed here for a long weekend as a solo traveler, and I can't wait to return for another stay. It would be a great place for a longer stay as well. Felicia was a proactive and gracious host. She thoughtfully provided pasta and sauce to cook (which I used!). She also let me park in the driveway during the snowy weekend, which was much appreciated. Lovely stay! Can't sing enough praises!

The MIST studio was very sweet and comfy. We happened to be there on a wonderful fall weekend in the Door County Peninsula. Catherine was very welcoming. We highly recommend a stay at the MIST Studio.

Meg and Rita should be elevated to above “Superhost”. The little pink house is clean quiet and nicely decorated. All hosts should be as responsive and thoughtful. Every wall switch was labeled to let me know which switch operated each particular light or room. AND every wall socket was fitted with an adapter outlet which was so helpful when traveling with multiple chargers for multiple devices. A great stay. I will definitely stay again.

It was a nice place for our weekend trip. It is an older house with a nice remodel. The stairs are steep because it's old, but otherwise a great place.

We loved our stay at Patti’s place. This home was a great value for a long weekend of leaf-peeping in Door County. Mid-October was simply beautiful - the fall colors were at peak and just breathtaking, including the tree right in the front yard. This was a first-time visit to the peninsula for our family of four. Most of the sights are north of Sturgeon Bay, so while this town isn’t a super central base for exploring, it’s not inconvenient either - driving to the northernmost point is still only an hour or so. The home was spotlessly clean and cozy, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe. And super kid friendly, from the available baby gate, plastic cups, and even baby spoons (with elementary-aged kids, we didnt need them ourselves) to the nightlights in every room. My kids thought the loft was so cool, and we enjoyed playing the games provided too. We walked just a block down the street to the school playground, and visited nearby Otumba Park too (which has a sandy beach).

This is our second time at Bob’s place and it was even better this time around. Perfect for our family, including our dog. We love the quiet location, safe for our daughters to ride their scooters and walk, without worrying about heavy traffic. The rooms were perfect sizes, the living space was extra comfy with the big couch. Loved the escape of the downstairs area too. Everything in the area is typically drivable within 15-20 minutes. The woods and beautiful fall colors out all the windows and surrounding the house were the icing on the cake.

My second stay was just as positive as the first! Shawna is a fantastic host and very responsive with all communication. I highly recommend this location and look forward to my next stay!

Kathleen was an absolute sweetheart and was soooo accommodating! i definitely recommend their place and if we're ever in the area again I'd book their place in a heartbeat if available!

It was a wonderful property with a gracious host in a lovely area. The house was clean, spacious, and relaxing to return to after a long day.

Our stay was great overall. If I had to pick something to change, I'd want the outside front entrance light to work. That's really it. :)

Wonderfully responsive host accommodated a very last-minute request! Can't beat the location - extremely walkable and had lake views. Spring peepers living in the little pond in back sung us to sleep. New and very clean. Thank you!

The condo was beautiful and very clean! It was super easy to find and get in/out of. There was plenty to do on the property and nearby!

Was a great home base for our family of four. The resort’s indoor pool was a hit with our kids, as was the lofted bedroom with their own tv. Appreciated being very centrally located to easily drive to many of the small towns on the peninsula and Carrie’s extra effort to confirm places to eat/drink/entertain which were open during the offseason.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Door County! So many restaurants and shops nearby, not to mention the lakeshore and the beautiful sights within walking distance. We appreciated the local recommendations and the easiness of the stay. I visited with my mom who's in her 70s, so we also enjoyed some downtime and truly appreciated the calm surroundings and the electric fireplace in the living room. Sometimes it's the little things, like having a chat in the right environment, that can really make a trip special.

Absolutely the perfect place to find your inner peace and re-energize! The Nest is exactly that. It is so warm, comfortable and secure that it just so serene. The view is almost undesirable as it took my breath away and brought happy tears to my eyes. As a 60 year old mom of 2 amazing kiddos 11 and 9 who are both Neurodivergent it was the best medicine for my heart and soul. We will be back hopefully many times as both of my kiddos felt right at home. My husband as well was in awe of this Treasure I was able to find. Thank you Charlie and Suzy for allowing our little family enjoy something that never would have imagine as possible for us. it was heaven on earth.

Our girls weekend stay at Veronica‘s place was superb! It exceeded our expectations. It was large enough for our group of eight to easily spread out if wanted, although the common spaces are so inviting, we spent most of our time there. It is within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and interesting scenery. Veronica could not be easier and more pleasant to work with, and we loved our beautiful surroundings.
