So perfect for family and parents to stay for Ironman weekend. House was so good for walking to town for the event and for supporting. And a fantastic house in its own right. So good.

What an absolute treat staying at this house. I now want to go home and redecorate my house. Everything was thought of, down to bread and milk for our arrival. Thank you so much

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Lovely listing. Right in the middle of everything. Close to the beach and related activities. Super friendly, accommodating and responsive host. Couldn't have been better.

We had a great weekend staying here in April. It was a great location for a day spent touring wineries in the Hunter Valley. The home was spacious and well equipped and the hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful weekend stay! Atters was very easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. The house was clean, tidy, and beautifully renovated, everything felt fresh and comfortable. The nearby beach was absolutely stunning and just a short walk away. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Robyn’s place is tidy, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, the bathroom is beautifully renovated and very clean, the beds are comfortable and the living/dining area is very inviting. We had a great long weekend. Would definitely return. It’s an easy walk to Shoal Bay’s waterfront, shops and eateries but far enough away to be peaceful. Robyn is amazingly responsive. She offered all sorts of info about things to do and when I needed her help to work out the hot plate, she came back to me within minutes- saving our lunch in the process! Everything there is easy- from the check-in through to the garbage bins and parking. Thanks Robyn for providing the base for an excellent weekend!!

Very functional, albeit small 2-bedroom apartment. The pool was great - we were the only ones that seemed to swim while we were there! The little balcony is a nice place to have a dinner or wine. It did hold the heat quite a bit - assume it would be quite warm in summer. The suburb is very hilly like the name suggests - so be mindful of that from a mobility perspective. Great area - lots of cafes around 10 mins walk away.

A spacious and comfortable self-contained flat, overlooking the forest and the ocean. We had an excellent time over four weeks. Communication with a most hospitable owner was perfect. We highly recommend, and hope to be back some day!

We had a wonderful stay in Sawtell with our young children. The apartment is beautifully presented and is on the doorstep of great restaurants and the cinema. It was an easy walk to the beach and other great spots. Thank you Michael and John!

The location was a short walk to the beach and shops in a quiet part of a lovely town. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and great to have extras like a laundry. Information on the local area was also helpful. A homely stay in a lovely town.

Views from this place were absolutely spectacular, loved the large windows and porch area overlooking the amazing bay. Lovely seats, table and a wonderful hammock seat on the porch where I spent a lot of time reading, meditating, relaxing and enjoying the view. The space inside was very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Bed was very comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, very comfy lounge area. Decorations and art in this place were incredible of magazine standard, Heather has certainly an eye for decorating. Heather was an amazing host and would absolutely recommend her place. Would most definitely stay here again next we visit the area.

Thanks Jenni & Ian we had a wonderful stay with our 2 fur babies, Jenni even left us a lovely cheese platter, and champagne on arrival, the unit is lovely & clean & everything has been thought of, even doggie bags & treats for the doggie kids. Bed is really comfortable which is a big tick. Great stay we will definitely be back

Wow!! What a gorgeous place and to walk a few steps to the end of the road and find yourself on an amazing beach !!! Walked the length of the beach and back in the rain and found it awe inspiring. Property is really comfortable and well equipped. Full kitchen with loads of treats which was much appreciated. The bed and bed linen is to die for and as away from lounge I could get to sleep while OH watched TV .. what a treat. Everything you could possibly need in a wonderful position - if you surf you must stay here !!!!

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time. David was so responsive and proactive in letting us know about road closures. View was stunning, lovely spot, highly recommend.

We thoroughly loved our time at “The View”…and oh, what a view! Just spectacular from the front balcony. The property was spotlessly clean, and the King sized bed, super comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking equipment. The Sunbeam coffee maker was an added bonus. “ The View” is centrally located in Shoal Bay, right across from the jetty, and just a short drive (or walk, depending on your choice of bush walk), to a whole host of fabulous places to walk and explore. Do yourself a favour, and drive over to Sunset Beach at Soldiers Point on sunset. Breathtaking!!! Mark and Lea are generous hosts with outstanding communication. We’d love to come back again to further explore this region and to further enjoy Mark and Lea’s hospitality.

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂

The apartment was great, good location - close to the beach but also walkable to the town. It was great having a place with access to a hot tub and heated pool. We loved it. Helen was also really responsive and helpful.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

It’s a nice unit in a great location, well furnished and well appointed. You can tell that the owners take real pride in it.
