JoAnna's place was even better than we expected. The pics on Airbnb and VRBO don't do this home justice. We were in State College for a wrestling tournament with another family. We travel a lot for wrestling and this is the most accurately advertised, cleanest, and most welcoming place we've ever stayed--and my husband always says I'm too picky, so that's saying a lot! We aren't even really PSU fans, but now we want to go to an event just to stay in the house again. Thank you for welcoming us to your home. We'll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic girls weekend here. There was ample space for all of us, a beautiful and functional kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals, and an everything was immaculately clean. The view was unbeatable - we spent significant time on the patio and deck. It’s private enough to not be disturbed and to not feel like you’re disturbing anyone else. The host was responsive to our outreach, friendly, and helpful! 10/10 would stay here again.

Fabulous place: very quiet, established neighborhood with a beautiful, private yard. Plenty of parking. Close to State College box stores/restaurants on North Atherton, easy drive to downtown and to the Stadium. Perfect location for a few of us alums heading to the Blue/White game. House was very clean, great for hanging out at the big center island or on the back deck or fire pit. Mattresses were really nice so we all got great night's sleep, and the water pressure was excellent- great showers! I would highly recommend this property!

Easy to get Ubers into town. Be prepared on Football weekends Ubers can be tough on game day and be prepared to possibly do a little walking as traffic can be bad. Great hosts though, clean place, great communication

Can’t say enough good things about this property and the owner. It was perfect for a small family gathering during the holidays. Nice open floor plan, attractive appointments and top tier appliances. Host was extremely cordial and responsive. Location is tucked away in a relatively new subdivision and yet just a couple miles to campus and Beaver Stadium.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great. The house was very clean and just what we needed for the weekend.

The place was perfect for us. There were 5 of us here for a Penn state/ Michigan state baseball weekend. The townhouse was 2-3 miles from the stadium. The place was clean and provided all the things we needed for the weekend. Michael also went the extra mile and supplied us with snacks and fruit for us on our arrival. I will definitely try and stay here again

Great option if you are visiting PSU and want to be close to the town. It is a very short drive or Uber ride to downtown and the house has plenty of room to accommodate a large family or multiple smaller families.

Great location next to playground that is good for families. Really nice layout with functional spaces for living room and den. Host was great. No issues at all.

We had a fantastic time in this space! The home is lovely and comfortable and an incredible location to downtown State College and the campus. Kate, our host, was phenomenal and responsive! Highly recommend ! :)

The house was wonderful! Very peaceful and comfortable nice for a quiet getaway, the beds were very comfortable i passed out IMMEDIATELY Best place I’ve ever stayed definitely recommend sandpiper homestays’s!

Super unique experience! We so enjoyed meeting Tara and her husband and learning about the region. Highly recommend going on a buggy tour with them.

This house was perfect for our visit to State College! It was spotless, cozy, cute, and so perfect for our needs. We felt right at home! My son’s dorm was about 5 minutes away which was great! We enjoyed the perfect location, and really everything about the house. We met the hosts and they were so kind, down to earth, and helpful! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future!

My family and I stayed for a wedding down the road. The house is absolutely stunning. It was extremely roomy, we all had our own space. The house had everything we needed, toaster, coffee maker, etc. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be back for another getaway. There was even an entire game room with every game you can imagine. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the property!

Lisa's place was private, quiet and exceptionally clean. Having grown up in the area, I was happy to be back in the mountains of central Pennsylvania. This place was a comfortable way to visit. Note: lt is nice to finally find a place that the owners actually stay in.
