It is positioned between the cathedral city of St Davids and the wild and beautiful Pembrokeshire coast being only minutes by ancient footpath to the coast path with its isolated seal breeding coves and a further mile to the untouched beach of Porthmelgan next to St Davids Head.

Square Island is a peaceful, rural location adjacent to a small farm. Pembroke town and several outstanding beaches are just a short drive away. We are close to the Coast Path and NCN cycle route 4, local pick up/drop off available on request. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. Solo traveller discount available on request.

Within walking distance is Sandy Haven, a lovely secluded beach with rock pools and a slipway. Close by are Dale, Marloes Sands and Martin’s Haven, where you can catch a boat to Skomer, famous for its puffins. The nearest towns are Milford Haven, with its marina and picturesque Haverfordwest.
