This is a fully self contained studio suite, with separate access on the edge of our family home. You have full access to the entire property which includes a hot tub spa pool, fire pit and trampoline. Kayaks and stand up paddleboards are available if you would like a touch of adventure. These facilities are all shared.

The Cabin - Fantail Grove, Hamurana, Rotorua.

The Cabin is located at Hamurana, in a 2 acre garden setting 350m from Lake Rotorua. Located 120 m from the owners house and is completely private. All around are Sugar Maples with ferns and native plants underneath which attract the fantails. Purpose built and architecturally designed in 2019 as a holiday retreat using passive home guidelines. The cabin is a 15 minute drive from Rotorua CBD, close to all tourist attractions while allowing you the peace and quiet of a luxury retreat.

Totally secluded but also only 7 mins from the airport, 10 mins to a supermarket/takeaways or 15 mins to CBD. Are you a fisherman? We're on the door step to all the lakes. Biking your thing? Famous trails are 15 mins away. Go hard during the day then eat out or cook at home. Watch the sun setting as you relax on the deck with a glass of wine. Curl up by the fire in winter.

Guests have the entire ground floor apartment to themselves with separate entrance door and private access to courtyard and lovely garden (my husband and I live upstairs). Close to Skyline Skyride/gondola, Rainbow Springs, Mitai, Canopy Tours and other tourist spots. Free Wifi. Great heating. Cereal, Milk, fresh Plunger-coffee, Tea variety, but no-cooking facilities. Lounge opens to private garden, with outdoor table and chairs.
