Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the place. It was extremely private. The house is located in the mountains and we ended up sleeping in clouds. Jose Miguel had planed everything : blankets, little heaters, dehumidifier and everything was really clean. He gaves us also great instructions about which roads to avoid which made our travel way easier. The only thing I would notice visitors is that the Airbnb is about 15 min from the city on a non paved road. Its easy to access with a high clearance vehicule, but is not walkable. If it's not a problem for you it's a great option if you want a really private place to sleep.

Glauco was responsive and helpful at every turn and everything was as described. Close to many of the attractions of the cloud forest including night hikes, waterfalls, shopping, and restaurants.

The only thing I regret about my stay at Albita’s place is that it wasn’t longer. In short, it’s a little gem of a house with the most stunning sunsets you can imagine. Being greeted with a rainbow in the morning and having coffee on the deck as you watch the clouds move around the mountains is sublime. Albita is a fantastic host: generous, responsive and extremely helpful. And Santa Elena is a cool little mountain town. Bon Appetit! and the Monteverde Brewing Company are great dining options close by.

The house is perfect if you are looking for a more jungle like experience. You definitely need a 4x4 car to get to the house and back out. It took us a little bit to find the house but with the descriptions given we made it. Don’t try to get there when it’s dark outside. Makes it more challenging. Everything was super clean and well made. Just make sure you look for scorpions before you sleep in the bedrooms. We had two big ones in the smaller bedroom. We were able to watch a thunderstorm and many animals from the balcony. It was amazing!

Our stay at the TreeTop House was wonderful! The rental is just as charming and unique as the listing described. It is located right between Santa Elena and Monteverde- our group was able to walk to several locations nearby thanks to sidewalks along the main road! The area is absolutely stunning, with amazing views from most areas of the home. It was spacious enough for our large group to stay comfortable. One small thing to note is that you may need to provide very detailed instructions to taxi/shuttle drivers as the location on google maps makes it appear like you are one street over- not a big deal but did require us to take the few extra steps to the main road to catch our ride a few times. Overall, it is a gem of a home! Sabine was very helpful and was quick to respond when we needed her assistance!

Una casa preciosa, con maderas y chimenea que la hacen muy acogedora. Tienen amplios espacios, comedores y las habitaciones bien distribuidas. Se ubica cerca del centro y tiene espacios alrededor naturales muy bonitos.

Wow fantastisk flot sted. Virkelig flot udsigt fra køkken, stue og terrassen. Vi kunne ikke blive færdige med at kigge udover landskabet. Lækre værelser og faciliteter. Dejligt med køkken hvor man selv kunne lave mad. Sybil er sød og imødekommende og svarer hurtigt på spørgsmål. Alt i alt en perfekt base for vores 3 dage i Monteverde.

Private, homey, and relaxing vibes while still being super convenient and close to supermarkets and shops! Roomey and spacious interior. Balcony was refreshing! Would recommend to anyone who visits Monteverde :)

Una típica quinra de recreo con una cada cómoda muy limpia y bien equipada. El área social excelente. Hicimos BBQ y se pasa muy bien en la piscina. De noche sumamente especial con luces y todo lo necesario. Vamos y ducha al aire libre también. Un 10! Muy comunicativos los anfitriones.

Es un lugar extremadamente HERMOSO, perfecto para desconectarse y renovar energías, súper completo, acogedor, el lugar estába impecable, cuidaron de cada detalle, tiene todo a la mano para no preocuparse por nada, la piscina super limpia y relajante mi esposo y yo estuvimos cuatro días y no nos alcanzó para disfrutar de tanto que ofrece el lugar y la casa, sin duda la anfitriona es una hermosa persona, súper amable y dulce, es un lugar simplemente perfecto, a ojos cerrados volveremos a este lugar. (súper recomendado)

Amazing place, about 15 min from la fortuna. The house was great, had everything we needed, the beds and sofa were very comfortable. Outside of the house was so pretty. Leonardo helped us spot some of the animals and we also searched and found- sloths, iguanas, birds, ducks, frogs, lizards and more. The kids loved it there! Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

Casa Colette was a great place to stay! It is a beautiful home and the hosts provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walkable to most places during the daytime and we would usually drive to dinner at night.

Hola, el alojamiento fue para nosotros muy acogedor, limpio, seguro, céntrico, de fácil acceso, lo que permitió que nuestros últimos dos días de vacaciones en esta zona fueran, inolvidables. Definitivamente seguiremos visitando la zona y quedandonos en esta propiedad. 100% recomendada.

We absolutely loved our stay here!! It was our favourite Airbnb and the only mistake we made is not booking it longer. It was also the comfiest bed we slept in all week! Norwin went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special!! We loved it. There was so much to do it was an incredible space and we were sad to leave it! We appreciate all the recommendations from Norwin, he was an incredible host! The hot water was also a bonus ! We loved the pool perfect place to cool down and soooo many games ! I would not hesitate to come back just to stay here!! The only rec I would have is earplugs if you’re a light sleeper as the walls are a little thin, although usually a very quiet peaceful neighbourhood!

This is a little hidden gem! Cute decor, clean, close to town, fresh pool, comfy beds. It’s nestled up in the hills and provides a close-up glimpse of rural Costa Rican life. Hosts were great!

Very pretty place! Friendly and responsive host. They were quite helpful in arranging stuff, they even dropped us a couple of times, when we were not able to book taxi. PYI: Uber doesn't work in Monteverde. They were very flexible in check-in & check-out! Loved the place! It was quite beautifully decorated. Everything in the house decor was very tastefully crafted - utensils, to decor, washrooms etc. The balcony seating outside was a very pretty place! Only thing that bothered us was the noises of the vehicles on the road in the room, at night.

Jan was a great host and very welcoming. If you are looking for a peaceful setting where you can take in the beautiful scenery and nature, then Jan’s place is the place for you! He is very helpful for any recommendations and very responsive to any questions or needs you may have.

We had such a cozy and lovely stay here! Highly recommend.

Fue un gusto habernos alojado en las cabinas de Minor. Desde antes de llegar fue muy atento enviándonos las indicaciones e información útil. Respecto del sitio, se encuentra bien cerca del centro y es muy limpio y cómodo. Minor fue muy amable y siempre atento a ayudar cuando lo hemos necesitado.

The house is 15 minutes by car from Santa Elena, the busy town in Monteverde. Santa Elena has shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, souvenirs and lots of tourists. This house is away from the hustle and bustle with the most spectacular view of the gulf of Nicoya on the doorstep. It has multiple rocking chairs where you can admire the view. Birds, including toucans and Motmots and of course , the white-throated magpie Jay are abundant in the beautiful garden. So many butterflies, even the blue morpho! The neighborhood is quiet and some neighbors even brought me squash from the garden! I am looking forward to going back for 2 months more!

Great spot in Monteverde. It’s only a few minutes from the town center but the house is 100m/yards off the road so it is still nice and quiet. Perfect for couples, close to amenities and activities, private, and has a very homey feel. If you’re debating between this place and a few others, just book this place.

Les recomiendo este sitio con una familia increíble y muy simpática. Más que un AirBnB, es una experiencia. Deseo a este familia todo lo mejor para el futuro y espero que más gente puedan disfrutar de esta experiencia!!!!! También tienen cabinas.

This is the most beautiful, serene airbnb I’ve ever stayed at (which is saying something). The setting is one of awe, everywhere you look. Mountains, nature, clouds with misting at times (it’s right by the cloud forest reserve), birds, animals, fireflies at night! Everything has so much intention and in that setting of quiet natural beauty, it meant everything. The bed was soo comfortable- looking at stars from a bed was magical. I didn’t even realize when booking that they also have food available that you can order, just for their guests. They have a little farm, plus grow their own coffee and food! Chemical free. The cook is AMAZING. SO worth it. And the dripped coffee from *right there* you get to do yourself was such a neat experience, and delicious. I will definitely be back. Oh, and the host was so responsive- I had so many random questions. Directions (Waze) took me straight there. You NEED a 4x4. They mention this but I’ll emphasize, yes, definitely. Enjoy!!
