Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

Enjoy breathtaking walks and views and relax in the wood-fired hot tub after exploring. Only 10 minutes from Inverness and Beauly, it’s ideal for 4 adults plus 2 children in bunk beds. Converted in May 2017, Shore View cottage is ideally located in the small village of North Kessock near Inverness. The Cottage has interrupted views over the Beauly and Moray Firths which are home to a school of Bottlenose Dolphins. The village of North Kessock has a pub and shop, all within easy walking distance.
