The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. We are in the tranquil Western Lake District National Park close to the Coast to Coast bike route and with plenty of walking right from the door. Your comfortable ensuite bedroom and own breakfast / sitting room is upstairs so has gorgeous views across to woods and fells. The bedroom can be set up as two singles or one kingsize bed. We can provide a delicious basket of local and home-made food for a help-yourself- breakfast for £5 per person. There is parking and a garage for storing bikes.

A beautiful beach on the Solway Coast is only 12 miles away.

The Barn is a beautifully refurbished retreat in a quiet corner of the Lake District National Park. Built in c.1870 as part of How Farm, The Barn is a very comfortable self-contained space which sleeps two adults and two children. It has a small garden, unique open living space incorporating the kitchen and lounge, lobby, shower room and large bedroom. The Barn is in a countryside location yet gives easy access to all the North West Lakes and the lesser known but very scenic West Coast.

The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm and is now one of a small complex of buildings, surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lake District. This location is the most peaceful and picturesque area and is perfect for walking, cycling, running, open water swimming etc.... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the Lakes and toward the lesser known scenic west coast.

Our cottage is a converted lakeland barn in the village of Pardshaw, near Cockermouth. Ideal for couples, walkers, cyclists, or families as a base for exploring the stunning Western Lake District. Loweswater is a ten minute drive away and Crummock, Buttermere , Keswick and the coast are all within half an hour. It's very cosy in the winter with comfy leather sofas and a woodburning stove, and there's a large 1st floor deck for Al Fresco dining in the summer.
