I’m sure many of you will be in need of a break away so …. if you are seeking a quiet and private space for your visit to beautiful Mount Maunganui then the recently renovated Beachside Retreat offers just that and more. The studio is perfect for quiet couples, solo travellers and business people. Safe and secure, the studio is bathed in morning and late afternoon sun so is cosy and warm. Heat pump for your comfort whatever the season. Beautiful Mount beach is just across the road. Beach gear available on request. Perfectly positioned to walk into town or stop along the way at some top cafes and restaurants. Back to the studio and you transition from the large deck through sliding glass doors to an interior that's designed for total relaxation. Refresh in a sparkling white bathroom and soak in a designer bathtub before bedtime. Kitchenette for tea and coffee making, microwave and small bar fridge. No cooktop. For your arrival there is a selection of NZ tea’s, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, milk and juice in the studio. On-site parking available for one car. Big screen smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and the usual free to air streaming. Fast high speed unlimited WIFI. A five minute walk to Central Parade shops, Fife Lane Restaurant, Tay Street Cafe and Store, Bay Oval and Blake Park. Also a handy five minute drive to Bayfair and Baypark. Enhanced cleaning and sanitising between guests as per Air BnB guidelines. Parking available on site. We (Shirley & Jim) live upstairs with our small dog Louie. We are around if you need a hand, would like some breakfast, dinner or tourist tips. Otherwise, we will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy your stay. The studio is on Marine Parade, directly opposite Mount Maunganui Beach. Blake Park, Bay Oval, and various shops and great cafes at Central Parade are about a 5-minute walk. It's a quick drive to the Mount, airport, Bayfair Shopping Centre and Trust Power Baypark. Just an hour drive will have you to Whakatane, Rotorua and Hobbiton. Check in and check out times may be adjusted to suit your travel arrangements on request. Luggage drop/storage also available on request.

Please be aware that we have been advised that the immediate Neighbour in Mid-January 2025 is removing existing house and is to construct new dwelling, so Monday - Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm there will be building construction noise. Excluding holiday weekend. Private self-contained unit. Own entrance, Off Street Parking, 1 Queen sized bed. Only 150 mt to beach. Short walk to Main Street, Restaurants & Bars. Wi-Fi available, Smart TV, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle, Ceral & Fruit, Milk, Tea & Coffee

The Abode

The Abode, a short walk to everywhere, is a cosy well appointed apartment, ideally situated in the heart of Mt Maunganui between the main surf beach & harbour. Enjoy views of the swimming pool and a glimpse through trees of the ocean from balcony. There is a sauna and gym. A private right of way to the ocean is a bonus .The Abode is an all-season getaway. Everywhere is a short walk; surf beach, harbour, Mt Mauao walking tracks, cafés, restaurants & boutique shopping on Mount MainStreet.

The Beach House

The Beach House is a perfect location for a weekend retreat. Gorgeous separate studio unit with kitchenette, ensuite and spacious living. Off street parking and an outdoor area to relax. A short stroll to Marine Parade beach and the popular Tay Street cafe. Only 2kms to Mount Maunganui township with boutique shopping, bars & restaurants. If exercise is your thing, enjoy a stroll around the Mount (Mauao) or for spectacular views, there are several tracks to the top to suit any fitness level.

Central Parade Hidden Gem with home-made bread!

This beautifully appointed one bedroom guest suite is located close to the beaches and shops. With a comfortable queen bed, a generous sized living area and modern fittings throughout, this guest suite will feel like your home away from home. A well equipped kitchenette allows for the preparation of basic meals that can be enjoyed outside on the deck overlooking the tropical garden. Beach is right across the road. Voted "Best Beach in New Zealand 2020" Stunning location. This is a fully self contained Studio by the famous Marine Parade, footsteps to Mt Maunganui beach. Includes bathroom, and small studio living area, queen bed, but no view from Studio. Light meals only with microwave, toaster, fridge and electric jug. The Studio is one of the few Mt places so close to the beach. Great swimming, surfing, walking and beautiful sunrises.

Beach Front Mount Maunganui

Absolute beach front location on the dunes of stunning Mount Maunganui beach. This spacious luxe guest suite is ideal for a couple wanting a beach break at the Mount. Bedroom is separate from the living area and has a modern ensuite. The suite is located at street level without beach views , however, a short walk up the steps from your separate patio entrance takes you to the incredibly beautiful Mount beach. Washing machine available.

Papamoa Beach Abode

Located at the rear of our full size section, this new purpose built studio is the perfect place for your next beach escape. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and 7 minute walk to the local shopping centre. The studio has its own deck and lawn area to enjoy the sunshine and take in the stunning sunsets over Papamoa Hills. Fitted out with all new items, we haven’t spared any expense to ensure you won’t be disappointed with your stay.

The Shaka Shack in Mount Maunganui Beach -

Come and enjoy the idyllic lifestyle that is Mount Maunganui. The Shaka Shack is a private studio and has all the latest mod cons. It is situated on our property but is an easy laid back and stylish space that you can come and go from at your leisure. We are a 3 minute stroll to the beach and a stones throw to Bayfair shopping centre, Baywave, Baypark/ASB Arena, Mount Main Street, Pilot Bay, restaurants, cafes and pubs.

Welcome to Home on the Range! Our stylish, modern, but slightly retro little studio, just a few minutes walk to the stunning Papamoa Beach. This is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine on the deck after a busy day taking in all that Tauranga has to offer. Enjoy awesome fiber broadband for streaming your favorite shows, or when you're 'bringing the office home'. We hope you'll love this place as much as we do!

Beachside unit, short walk to shops/cafés and bars

This very cute and comfortable self contained unit has a king size bed, with ensuite (shower and toilet). Includes basic kitchenette that has a microwave, air fryer, electric frypan, fridge, plus tea & coffee facilities. There is no kitchen sink, so not ideal for lots of cooking, but perfect for basic heat ups etc. Two minutes walk to beach, shops, cafés and restaurants. Off street parking, with bus stop outside.

Omanu Seaside Studio

One bedroom downstairs studio in a great location. Perfect for a work stay or a couple wanting to enjoy this beautiful area. Two minute walk to the beach or a short stroll to a cafe, dairy, takeaways and patrolled swimming area. Mount Main Street or Bayfair are also only a few minutes drive away. Open plan living and kitchen, separate bedroom and bathroom. Lounge opens onto deck and off street parking available.
