The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

Garden Home Backyard Yurt Experience

Our cozy-comfy 4 season yurt is nestled under majestic trees on a beautifully landscaped 1/3 acre. Located in a quiet, safe SW Portland neighborhood with a park, hike/bike trail a block away. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

A perfect location to explore the city! Easy access to public transportation and close to the vibrant Clinton / Division / Hawthorne / Belmont / Montavilla neighborhoods for the best dining, coffee, bars, parks and more! 1 block from magnificent Mt Tabor Park, the only extinct volcano within city limits in the US. Mt.Tabor park 1-block away. Dogs welcome! 50” UHD TV with Netflix & Amazon Prime included. We have a PLEX media server with lots of movies and shows. A 4K HDMI cable is provided for your gaming console, Blu-Ray player, or HDMI-equipped media player/streaming device.

Urban Oasis Retreat + sauna

Our guest house is a completely private space, accessible by an outdoor walkway, and has an outdoor patio. We designed the space to be light-filled, feel cozy yet roomy, fitting a lot into a small space. Vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, full kitchen, bathroom, a bed alcove with a comfy queen mattress and soft bedding and lots of extra touches. Our 335 sq ft guest house is fitted with all you'll need for your time in Portland.
