This self-contained studio apartment, located on the beautiful Mon and Brec Canal, is an ideal base for exploring our stunning Welsh countryside. Providing direct access to the central Beacons and the Black Mountains. Whether you are after a relaxing break away, or an action packed outdoor adventure, Calon y Bannau is the perfect place for your stay.

South wing & tree house, Llwyn Onn Barn, Brecon Bs
Our C17th stone barn home with self-contained guest wing & tree house, is set in woodland high up, with stunning views of the Brecon Beacons. We are close to Pen y Fan, the spectacular 4-waterfall walk & many others, caves, and a popular area for cyclists, with Bike Park Wales & Zip World Tower nearby. Dogs welcome, (2 max). Ideal for small families. (Please read the notes below thoroughly). Maximum group size is 4 plus babies. Because the main living spaces are not large enough for more.

Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons
Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

With a truly panoramic view out over the Brecon Beacons mountain range the accommodation is central for the whole South Wales region and an ideal base for walking,cycling,golf and mountain climbing .The Gower is an easy drive as is Brecon ,Cardiff and the Bay.There are many local attractions including the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan,Big pit ,Dan yr Ogof caves,Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch and Bike Parc Wales to name just a few.

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. Ysgubor Bach is a converted barn situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and approximately a 2 hour hike to Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales and Southern Britain. Bike Park Wales, built by mountain bike riders is on our doorstep and we are just 20 minutes by car from famous Waterfall Country. Zip World and Penderyn Whiskey are also well worth a visit. Ysgubor Bach is comfortable, has all modern amenities and is enhanced by many original features.

Coed Owen is a converted barn, situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park and graded 4 stars by Visit Wales. Coed Owen is one of the closest accommodations you will find to Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales and Southern Britain. Bike Park Wales is on our doorstep and we are just 18 minutes drive from the famous Waterfall County. Coed Owen is a great place for friends and family gatherings, walkers, mountain bikers, schools, colleges and university groups.

Granary Cottages Stable Loft
The Stable Loft is set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park between Merthyr Tydfil and Brecon. The property is on the Taff Trail Walking and Cycling route, close to Pen y Fan, The Brecon Mountain Railway and Bike Park Wales. The property sleeps two in the Kingsize bedroom. The Lounge area has a work burner and comfy sofas to curl up on. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher.

Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage
The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn was extended and refurbished in the summer of 2020. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal.
