Surrounded by a mix of mature pines and hardwoods, we experience a wide variety of wildlife and birds. The community of Moose Lake is a gateway to the north boasting access to both the Willard Munger paved hiking/biking/smowmobile trail system and the Soo Line ATV Trail System, a public beach with boat access and a state park.

There are several lakes close by with boat and water access. Tons of hiking and exploring opportunities at Banning State Park, Moose Lake State Park and Jay Cooke State Park. Also in close proximity to ATV/biking/snowmobile trails including the Soo line and General Andrews. 15 minute drive to Moose Lake. And less than an hour from Duluth.

Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.

Quiet cabin in the woods! Located right on ATV trail and about 45 min south of Duluth. Also within 20 min drive of lakes for fishing or boating. So if your looking for a relaxing get away or doing some wheeling we have the place for you! Fire ring set up for a relaxing evening fire! Full kitchen to make all your meals in or we are located close to Nickerson bar and Duquette General Store. If you need anything we are just a phone call or email away!

Cozy Fireplace in a Northwoods Tiny House

Deer Haven is a tiny house (192 sq feet) located in my backyard, overlooking acres of woodland. The space is small and simple. Get to the queen bed in the sleeping loft by climbing the ladder. Bathroom has a toilet and stock tank shower. The kitchen has basic amenities - fridge, microwave, hot plate, griddle, dishes, etc. Best spot in the house is on the couch, where you can see the fireplace and the gorgeous woods out the patio door.
