You will the love seclusion of nearly two acres of property surrounding the cottage. The perfect place to enjoy a sunny day on the lake or a cup of tea on a rainy day. With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

1920s Country House

Relax in this 1920s Spanish-influenced country house in Nisqually Valley of unincorporated Olympia, WA. This home features terra cotta tiles, hemlock floors, color drenched bathroom, 1920s clawfoot tub, and hand-painted sinks. Outside, sit on its welcoming front porch or enjoy the spacious patio in the back overlooking its serene, four-acre field. The farm across the road hosts several festivals to celebrate the seasons from August to December. Nisqually Wildlife Refuge is only 1.5 miles away.

Our all inclusive cottage is located on the property where we live in a beautiful area first developed by the timber barons of the Northwest! Located with easy access to I-5, JBLM, American Lake, Lake Steilacoom, Gravelly Lake, the Tacoma Golf and Country Club, Chambers Bay, Lakewold Gardens, and Thornewood Castle...we’re a mile and a half off of I-5 and about a mile to Starbucks, Safeway, Chipotle and Target...

Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Bee Haven Bus at the RMR

Come visit the RMR and enjoy the skoolie we call the Bee Haven Bus. Enjoy the sounds of the farm while enjoying a warm campfire. You will have a direct view of the forest, Emus, goats and poultry. When you’re ready to retire for the night step inside the fully equipped bus. There is a sink, 2 burner propane stove top, toaster oven, small fridge, rustic tub with shower, instant hot water heater, queen bed, original bus seat with fold down work desk for a laptop and hammock swing chair.
