Woollen blankets, feather sofa, antique Scandinavian log burner, king-size bed with French linen & down, waterfall shower, & the softest towels. Our sleepy Devon hamlet is only lit by stars at night. You might just sleep better than you have in years.

You will be staying in a beautiful green oak outbuilding with 4 dormer windows and a glass gable end offering delightful Devon countryside views. Access is via a private door into the front of the building. From the upstairs living area, a door leads to your own private garden. There is a decking area with a bench and table for outside dining and a barbecue in season. There is a wooden gazebo at the top of the garden also with a table and seating for outside dining with more lovely views.

The decor is stylish, comfortable, a beautiful haven to sit and contemplate the breathtaking surroundings from. The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from two good Pubs, The Staghunters Inn & The Rockford Inn. There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet - The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! We had a lot of fun converting The Old Workshop into a warm, cosy space, using reclaimed wood and upcycling items such as old beer barrels and old pine f

The Lookout (Log Cabin), Braunton. Incredible view

The Lookout is a log cabin which occupies a superb position with spectacular views over Braunton, the burrows and beyond. The log cabin is situated at the top of our garden next to our house. Access is via some steps - certainly well worth it for the view. We are conveniently located within the village of Braunton, around 5-7 minutes walk to the centre where there are a great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. There is off street parking for one car.
