Great apartment in a lovely quiet street, yet walkable distance to Darby Street cafes and restaurants, Harris farm, beach etc. This was our second visit and would return again!

Beautiful location, 2min walk to the Avalon shopping area, which has everything you would need great restaurants. Only 5min walk to Avalon Beach which also has an ocean pool. There are some great lookouts and hiking tracks nearby too. There was on-site parking for 1 car and plenty of easy street parking if you have a second car. The airbnb is located on the 2nd floor of Jan's house, with a private stairs entrance (would not be accessible for a wheelchair user). The airbnb had all the amenities you would need including a full kitchen and there was a washer and dryer which was handy! The airbnb was relatively clean, some areas could have a more thorough clean though. Good communication. Thank you Jan

Lovely stay, thanks Georgina. We found the apartment to be spotless (and we are fussy!), well equipped with thoughtful touches like a beach bag with towels for use during our stay and an info book with recommendations for eating etc. A very short stroll to beach which was lovely. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by but it is also quiet with the bedrooms situated at the back of the apartment. Living area is great and the balcony a lovely spot, the plants are a nice touch and makes it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom is small and the only thing I would change would be to add a little more storage space/ places to put things (in bathroom only) but this was easily solved for us by clearing the cupboard under the sink temporarily (ie; moving the hairdryer and spare toilet rolls elsewhere) then using that to store toiletries during our stay. Georgia was very communicative and proactive. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

We only stayed one night and found the apartment was just as Tina had described - extremely clean and very tidy. Will be keeping this accommodation in mind when we go to Sydney again.

My stay with Ali couldn't have been a better experience. The apartment is lovely and in a superb location, and Ali was extremely responsive and helpful during check in throughout the stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone travelling to Newcastle (and the coffee in the café downstairs is awesome)

We had a great weekend at Viv’s apartment. It had a comfy bed, a nice little living area and kitchen and is bright and light. View is of other apartment buildings but that didn’t matter as it’s across the road from the beach and close to cafes and restaurants so great location. Viv was a responsive, friendly host. Would definitely stay here again. 😊

great stay everything exactly as described. it was very roomy! perfect for two families woth bedrooms and a bathroom each at opposite ends of the place.

Thank you Gretta and Greg! We (our family of 5) loved staying in your home for 5 nights. The house was a short stroll down to the local village where each morning we would grab our coffee (and occasional pastry!) at Burnt Honey Bakery before taking our dog to the dog friendly beach across the road. The house had a great backyard for our dog to run around and also had heaps of games for our 3 children to play. The pool table was such a hit! We loved the open plan living space and the large comfy sofa. The only recommendation I would give would to have a second TV in the front room for a second living area, especially since you can sleep up to 11 people in this house. Thanks again!

Our party of 5 including grandparents and 2 yr old son had a lovely stay at Michelle's. we stayed for 4 nights and spent the mornings at the beach which is just around the corner and lazy afternoons in the pool. The garden and house are well maintained and very cosy for a family trip away. I'd recommend stocking up on food as there are currently no shops/cafes at Pearl beach, but it was handy having a coffee cart turn up next door in the mornings. Even though there is construction building next door, my 2 year old son loved watching the machines and was disappointed when they weren't working on the weekend！Thanks again for sharing your home with us Michelle, we will be back！

Loved our stay, was very quirky, clean and comfortable. It’s a quintessential Aussie beach shack with plenty of space and fitted out with everything you could want or need & lots of unique touches. The yard is extremely secure for any pets and walking distance to the beach, the dog park and cafes. Would highly recommend !!!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

We loved our stay at this property. Tracey was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed to check in and settle in well before we arrived. Our main reason for booking was that it was close to family we were visiting but it was a great location for getting out in the evening and getting to the local beaches. If we come to Australia to visit family again we would definitely be a return customer.

We had a wonderful stay at Black Zinc, a very comfortable accommodation and so close to the beach. The place was well equipped and very clean. Amazing views and a very tranquil setting.

It was our second time at Ally’s Umina and cannot fault the place. Place is very clean and well equipped, relaxing in the spa. Robbie is a wonderful and responsive host, providing guides and suggestions during our stay. Sit outside and you’ll feel the serenity just listening to birds and the sound when wind blew past the trees. Ally’s Umina Oasis is highly recommended place to stay in Central Coast. Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

The location, the view and the sound of the ocean waves made our stay in this apartment a wonderful experience! We had no trouble communicating with our hosts, who were nice and helpful! We can only recommend the apartment for future guests.

I had a lovely stay at Tina and Chris’s place! Although I didn’t get to meet Tina in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful through messages. Chris was so welcoming and friendly—it truly felt like a home. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and warm place to stay. Thank you both!

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Thank you Michael and Alice for having us to stay. The apartment was roomy and in a great location, close to Waitara train station and Hornsby Westfield. Michael was proactive and helpful in his communication.

Xanthe's place has a lovely aspect, is very quite (there is a Police Station at the end of the road that might help;), has a lot of sun light and is very comfortable. The deck area is very large so great for our dog and all the amenities worked as described. The sofa, dinning table and decor were very nice and rustic and the kids loved the sunroom with a hammock chair. The street itself suited us perfectly. The area is within walking distance to Mona Vale and lots of shops and gyms etc, walk to the beach and dog park, close to the B1 bus to the city and also easy access to anywhere else on the Northern Beaches.

Definitely recommend staying here, we will be rebooking in the future

Soo and Biswanath were the ultimate hosts in welcoming us into their home. They found the optimal balance between supporting and advising us whilst at the same time respecting our privacy and ability to come and go to meet family nearby!
