Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Explore the island and return to a quiet space surrounded by trees and an ocean view. Watch hummingbirds and resident fawns feed as you enjoy the 300 sf expansive deck facing the private ½ acre yard. This luxurious oceanfront yurt is hidden in an ancient cedar grove providing privacy and an amazing backdrop to its unprecedented ocean front setting. Set atop an ocean front rock face with a fully covered patio. A fully equipped kitchen and spa like bathroom highlight the luxurious amenities included in this stay. An upscale romantic getaway like no other. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas, a bottle of our house cider and our fresh pastries during their stay.

Cliff Top Family Home Over Looking the Ocean

This beautiful home is located on Oxbow Ridge on Pender Island with a breathtaking view over Poets Cove. It offers a landscaped yard with chairs to relax in to admire the views. There is a smaller cottage that tenants live in on site in an adjacent building, they have a dog on site who may pop over to say hi. The main house is the owners personal home and live in it during the year. Please note that we have two private areas that will be closed off to guests in the house.

Beautiful cedar home on a secluded half acre with breathtaking views of Saturna, the San Juan's and Mt. Baker. Amazing rock fireplace, large fully stocked country kitchen, sunroom with 180 degree view of it all. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. Two large ocean-view decks, a hot tub overlooking the ocean and a tidal islet where otters, seals and birdlife congregate, and even the occasional Orca sighting!

The Salty Goose is the perfect place to unwind with your loved one. Enjoy the ocean breeze from the balcony of our private cottage getaway. The beach and government dock are also located right across the street. Relax as you enjoy all nature has to offer; seal, deer, eagle and raven are all common sightings here. Our cottage is within walking distance to the Driftwood Center, Cidery, Marina, and Winery!

Dinner Bay Private Cottage

The cottage is situated on 14 acres surrounded by forests but with views of the ocean. It has a huge deck where hammocks (which are provided) can be hung and a full size hot tub is nestled in the rocks. It is very private but still easily accessible to the ocean. We recently installed a new hot tub with lots of different jets, lights and seating. It is quite amazing!

Sweeping Views on the Water

If you want to get away from it all look no further than this quiet cabin on the water with sweeping 180 views of the northern San Juans, Canada, and Mount Baker. Great for families - enjoy the hot tub, foosball table, large deck and beach area. The house has a lot of custom Orcas touches to go along with the more recent remodel work. PCUP00-17-0008
